The U stands for unitized, .335 Parallel Tip ( spiral) , i am told there is no performance difference in the 2, and you know i have no idea at all, because i am technically challenged when it comes to club specs.

Great post Reid. I love coming to this WITB to see what I will hopefully get to play in the future. I can spend half a day in John's thread looking, wishing and drooling. Hopefully John knows how much we all appreciate the time he spends entertaining dorks like me! :drinks:

Well Kevin, if you spend half the day in my WITB and then go back you yours the entire day is shot, just kidding thanks for all the compliments guys, and whether you like them or not, i am going to keep putting pic's of clubs up, and the way i feel about is, if you dont like them, dont look.

I am way past trying to play well in tournaments, or to try and impress people with low scores. The fun in the game for me now is constantly putzing with equipment. If I had to play a whole summer with the same set of clubs, I would probably quit playing. I know EXACTLY what you mean. That is how we derive our enjoyment of the game.

 

My friends tease me all the time because of my equipment, they buy guns, boats, snowmobiles... I choose to spend my $$$ on golf equipment. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the game the way we do.

And the last round i used my 681's and most of what is in my original picture, my next round thats a good one, i have some really nice new stuff to try, i cant really predict what will be in the bag. My best guess is:

 

905R, 695MB's, F3-05, Black Tour Chrome 52*, Tour Spin Milled 60*, but thats subject to change without notice.

WOW!!! although i dont show it, i'd love to be a titleist guy such as yourself. those pictures you have are incredible. ;) :D nothing else discribes it better. you said might, and hopefully will again soon, sell some of your older clubs. let me know if you do, cause i'd love to pick up anything playable with titleist on it, drivers, fairways, hybrids, irons, wedges, putters, bags, balls, you name it. love some wedges, anything vokey. thanks for giving me something to strive for in the future... get clubs like JHR :fool:

I too have a simular set up. I think I have the exact putter. I am looking forward to the new Titleist Driver.

 

What I really need is a 20 degree deepfaced head that I could put a 4 wood length shaft. I am concerned about the weight and lie of the club. Any suggestions

One question I do have for you. I am looking for a set of wedges and have been searching for those black vokeys for ages. did you finish them yourselve, because I can never find them. Where do you get your tour stuff? And would you be willing to sell the black finish vokey wedges? ;)

I've read all the forums of your clubs and all the covers, and how you collect all the balls that come out. I would just like to inform everyone who reads these forums. Bow Down to this golf club collecter god.

But, out of your whole shabang of categorized clubs, you are missing one key ingredient to making me die for this set up you have going. MIZUNO CLUBS. You should seriously think about buying the new mizuno clubs and posting them on here. hahaha, sounds crazy i bet. But you seem like a billionaire so you should be good to go.

I dont agree with that bowing down stuff, i just like clubs and enjoy seeing all the WITB's, and i like sharing the items i aquire as well. I have almost purchased the MP-32's and MP-60's on many an occasion, but i accept that they would not see much action, so i never go through with it, i am a fan of them though, i am sure that one day i will breakdown and give in to the calling of some Mizuno clubs. Thanks again.

You are the only one to ask about this change, i did not really like the feel of the steel in this club. I asked a few other players that i know had F3-05's and asked them about the Pro 95, the comments were very positive so i figured i would give it a try.

 

I have been experimenting with some different graphite shafts in my Fairway clubs and thought i would see what this combination would do.

I do like the R, i have not really used it to get a great feeling for it yet. I use my K more right now.

 

So for right now, i give the edge to the FT-3.

No, its not that, i really like the 695's and if i did not like the 681's so much i would be using them , its just like a favorite clothing item, it just fits and feels right, not that the 695's are not better, i am just not as used to them as the 681's.
