Vegas w/Car

My uncle and I are looking to golf in/around Vegas April 12 & 13.  We would probably prefer morning rounds, but we have a vehicle and pretty much any time of day on Friday and Saturday is open.  11 handicap and old-man hack that finds a way to bunt the ball around (and beat me in some betting lol).

 

I'm seeing prices in the $300 range for Wolf Creek, TPC Vegas, & Paiute Wolf... that might be a bit high to justify a round each day.  Is there anything in the $100 range that would be worthwhile within 1-1 1/2 hours from the strip?  Would we be better off doing Twilight somewhere?

 

I'm seeing these are the most recommended courses from posts in the past.  Are there any 'must play' besides Wolf Creek or Paiute - Wolf?

Short answer is:  It will be Very expensive no matter where you play.... you can look into Bears Best, Rio Secco or maybe even the Anthem courses.

 

But still going to be expensive and nothing decent at $100 for sure.  You might find a twilight tee time that will push dark to finish.

Have a look at Primm Valley, well under $100 on GolfNow.
 About 1 hr away. Two great Tom Fazio layouts, conditions aren’t perfect, but certainly acceptable.  We always play a couple rounds there on trips to Vegas.

April is still pretty much prime golf season pricing for the most part in Vegas. You might have some luck with twilight last minute deals but honestly morning rounds at the higher end “must play” courses are gonna cost you. I’ve been to Vegas more times than I should have and the prices for not just golf but everything have gone up considerably over the last 5 or so years.

Sand Hollow on your list is in St George, UT.  If you are going to St George, I recommend Black Desert.  It's much better than Sand Hollow.

yeah prices are very expensive high season. i played in august and it was so much fun playing paiute for 120 bucks and wynn for 525. thats still not cheap  but im not paying $300 for paiute or close to 1k for wynn. i know its hot but not once did i feel uncomfortable in the 110* heat. i also played 36 at wynn so i was in the heat all day long.
