Just moved to WPB a few months ago and had a great experience playing The Park a few times. It was around $60ish to walk as a city resident and now it’s up to $135. 

 

Is that always the case in the winter?

Yup they call it dynamic pricing.  It is normal here in Florida for rates to go up November to April/May.  I'm surprised the city resident card doesn't give a better rate.  The Florida resident rate for next Monday is $210.  Have you looked at Osprey Point?

 

I figured out my way to fix the pricing problems in South Florida...move out of state, which I am 🙂

Yeah, I figured it would fluctuate for non-WPB city residents which I get but i guess i thought it’d be more city friendly. Oh well, good to know - thanks for the info. 

 

I’ll check out Osprey Point or just move haha, thanks!

Wow. Just went and looked and see even Florida residents (not WPB) are over $200. Closer to $300 for Out of State. 

 

Played it in December for $210 as out of state and loved every second of the round, though certainly pricey.

I don't see it going down anytime soon. Even with the dynamic pricing and upcoming summer season, there is still very high demand.

 

It felt like it was a bit of a secret last summer.

Agreed, definitely not a secret any more. Not sure what the city-resident rate will look like moving forward.

Does anyone know if the prices drop in June or if it’s high all year round. Non resident heading there in early June and hoping the prices come down a bit. Thanks

June 2024 I paid $107 as an in-state resident. Playing last week I paid $176. 

 

After playing it twice now I believe that The Park is the best municipal golf facility in the US. Not the best course (Bethpage), but best facility. It's worth paying to see regardless of the price.

Thanks for this. I think we’ll be playing it regardless. Looks fantastic for a day trip.

I just played it with my brother (who is a Boca resident)in March and I want to say his in-state pricing was like $150 for an 11am weekend round. It’s an amazing track; very different from other FL golf courses. The lit 9 and putting course were great to take my wife and the kiddo to. I think the entire experience is a great win for WPB and kids golf in the area, even if their 18 hole green fees aren’t cheap.

Having played both, I think your assessment is 100% spot on.
