taylormade qi10 max driver removeable weight?

Anyone know what the stock weight is of the small removeable weight on the qi10 max driver? Thanks

The weight in the back is 32g stock I believe.

It's interesting the component guide doesn't have the Max listed.

Kinda maybe adds credence to the video I saw about TM not being able to swap the weights due to effecting the MOI.

 

Someone is probably going to have to pull one to see.

I found the weight of that one, I was referring to the small round weight near the shaft that's removeable. I heard the large 32g back weight cannot be changed out, like the smaller weight. Thanks

It's essentially nothing more than a port into the head, it weighs and is labelled 1g.

I don't know the weight of the back weight, but I would like to thank TaylorMade for designing it so that you can't use a weight from earlier TM drivers.  I would hate to not have to order one when experimenting with different weights.

Even though they are different colors, has anyone checked to see if the stealth weights are the same as the TSS weights in the Qi models?  I see a lot of places to procure stealth weights, only a select few to get ones being sole as 'Qi' weights.

They are a different shape.  I have a Qi 10 Max and when I looked at a buddy's Stealth it sure didn't look like the Stealth weights would fit.

In 2g increments. I just thought it was a port for hot melt. Should’ve figured you could change the weight but would it change MOI (put it over the top)?

According to the rep in this video, yes.  Start at around 5:20.  Is it all truth?  No idea, you'd likely need an MOI machine to tell you.

I’ll check it out. I’d be seriously concerned about all of those MOI tests the rangers, playing partners and tournament organizers might subject you to. “Sir, we need to check your club head for conformity, this is a municipal course, we don’t allow random clowns to drive over the limit”…😂

Those won’t fit the Qi 10 Max. I don’t know about the other two models.

Here is a pic of my Max. The back weight is similar to the Stealth weight but just different enough that it won’t fit.

my heel weight only weighed 1g.  it is changeable.  I put a 4g weight in mine.

did you buy one of the ‘qi10’ weights or were you able to use one of the others out there?

i bought one off ebay. the round weights fit Stealth/Stealth2 and Qi10.

Okay, this was the question I have, whether they were the same or not. Ignoring them being different colors of course.

I found a black weight on ebay that fits plus the silver one should work as well.

I just got my Qi Max, and checked the back weight is 30g. It is screwed in but also had to heat it a bit as it was epoxied in as well. As the designer said the back weight is at the max for MOI, any heavier and it will be non conforming.  How long before someone is selling 35-40 gram weights on eBay?

I’m trying to swap out Qi10 weights but my standard wrench(es) don’t fit. The screws seem to be standard 6-point stars, but the wrench is a tad too large.

Did you ever get an answer? The small weight in the Qi10 Tour 5 wood i acquired is 6g. Don’t know if this standard or not.
