i'm buying KU going down to samford ... hometown school with a former hs coach, KU's without their star ... alabama won't make it to the SW16 ... we stink on defense ... FF are UConn, UK, Tenn, Zona ...

@tiderider  You might not like this but in the Final Four I have Auburn over Arizona then Tennessee over Houston with Auburn cutting down the nets!

My team is Duke but this year I must admit UNC has a better squad...it's tough when your rivals are talented also!

Shockingly, I'm 8-for-8 right now.  However, that isn't going to last for long because I had McNeese as a 12v5 upset over Gonzaga and they're currently down 24.   LOL.

Since Syracuse isn't playing (rightfully so), I probably won't watch any games until maybe the Final Four.  Heck, I was off work yesterday and didn't want a single minute of any of the games and it'll likely be the same today.  I was about to rip on my alma mater (UC Davis) by saying they've never been to the tournament and probably never will be, but had obviously forgotten that they did make it once after winning the Big West Conference Tournament.  They won one of the 16v16 First Four games and then got blown out by Kansas.

 

In any case, after starting yesterday 8/8, I went only 4/8 after that.  My 4 incorrect picks were McNeese (Gonzaga), Drake (Wash St), Kentucky (Oakland), and Texas Tech (NC State...yeah, that was dumb).

Vermont is going to give them al lthey can handle, and I expect Vermont to pull the upset.  Believe it enough, that I put a little $$ on it. 

That said, Duke will probably win by 25 😞

And with Auburn losing my bracket is busted and I have donated a few dollars to family and friends...hopefully my wife can finish in the Top 3!

Took Duke -12.5 (BIG Duke fan here) and that hit but also took the over on a separate parlay and that did not hit...laid off the JM game...not sure on the Houston game yet.

cream rising to the top for the sweet 16, for the most part ... two 1/5, two 1/4, two 2/3 matchups with a 2/6, also ...  only outlier is the 2/11 (marquette at nc state) ... haven't seen uconn, but the way they won over NW was impressive ... bama can hopefully recover from its football game against grand canyon ... unc is #20 and bama is #1 in offense ... course, bama is 345 in defense, against unc's 111 ... would like to see an article on the experience of each SW16 team's roster ... how many letterman and how long they've been at that program ... that's the biggest factor in this tournament, i think, going forward ...

Only watch college bball during the tournament. Love that every game is like a game 7 with the single elimination. I’ve seen several epic games in the last few days that have come down to the final seconds. The Stanford women’s game against Iowa State last night was epic as well. Great stuff

Iowa v Colorado in sweet 16 on women's bracket. Who will get more attention, Caitlyn Clark or Coach Prime? His daughter is a bench warming frosh for the Lady Buffs. I can sense an upset though, CU was a top team early in the coaches poll and beat LSU earlier on, Iowa is not very good outside of CC but she is her. 

 

I picked NC State for mens side, never undermine a streak.  New Mexico in elite 8 was a miss though.  Bummed my alma Stony Brook U lost in OT in their conf title game to C of Charleston, who got whomped by Bama with a drunk Justin Thomas at the hotel bar cheering loudly im sure.

Didn’t know his daughter was a bench warmer on the Lady Buffs squad. Safe to say it was a favor for coach daddy? Previously on the team at Jackson State when Deion was the HFB coach there. Her making the bball team must be part of Deion’s contracts 😊

I can’t remember her name, but Colorado has an incredibly athletic guard. She may make life miserable for CC all game long. CC may take whining to the officials to a new level in this one.

Yeah who really knows if she can play, small and stocky frame. Athletically gifted no doubt and can probably shoot, that's it. Where would she be playing without her daddy is the question. 

 

When his son gets drafted to the NFL next year, I wonder if Prime will leave Boulder.  I'd lean yes.

God I hope so. I’m too close to Boulder as it is, and seeing all this “prime” stuff is nauseating. 
 

It’s funny, Deion seems to be thinking a little bit like LeBron when it comes to his kid. That he can dictate the kids future. What he’s forgetting is LeBron is still playing. And teams might draft his kid just to have a season of dad. Because like him or not, he’s a draw. At this point Deion is just a PITA father. Whose kid might be good enough to make it. But is he good enough to have to put up with what comes along with him?

 

edit: I haven’t seen his daughter. I was referencing a guard they do have that is legitimately good player. Quick and hard nosed.

His younger son will definitely make it, he's a projected top 5 pick - I think he will be quiet once is in the league, just going to be a circus until it finally happens, reminds me of the Ball brothers and their dad before they finally made it to the NBA. That Chino Hills HS was a dominant HS basketball team, might be the greatest ever.  3 lottery picks in the starting 5.

I actually think Shadur has a chance. When he has time he makes NFL caliber throws. But just like you said earlier, the circus he brings along, is it worth taking a shot on.

Well. Let me just say - thanks UNC for giving Clemson the gift of the final 4.  ( huge sarcasm font).  Maybe the luckiest tournament break I’ve seen in a long time. Alabama won’t beat Clemson.  Ugh.
