Help me fill in the gap in my bag

Have almost everything set for the season. 7 wood to 6 iron is where I’m struggling a bit.

 

7 wood carries 235 and chases out to 245-250. TSR2 HZRDUS Black 4G 80 6.5

 

6 iron carries 195 and chases out to 205.  ZX7 $-taper 130
 

5 iron carries 205 and runs to 215 very inconsistent with this ZX4 MK2 $-taper 130

 

4 iron I’m super inconsistent with and can carry 205 or 220. ZX4 MK2 $-taper 130

 

ideally looking for something that carries 215-220 and runs out to 230

 

never had much luck with a hybrid or driving iron so I’m pondering a 9 wood as I’m running out of ideas. I’ve been looking at TSR1, Ping G430, Qi10 for 9 woods and just putting the same shaft that’s in my 7 wood. 
 

Maybe a graphite shaft in the 4 or 5 iron?

Based on what you have described, I would try a 9W.

How does your 4 iron only carry 205 sometimes ? Sounds like a weird fit relative to your other clubs. Could change the shaft or just get a different 4 iron. Think having a 7 wood and 9 wood as someone that hits the ball pretty far is kinda pointless. 
 

probably just get a 3 or 4 iron

Not sure to be honest probably a combo of the shaft, spin and launch? Maybe loft? Also strike certain plays a part of the equation. Maybe I’ll try a lighter shaft in my 5 iron and bend it a degree or two stronger before I dive into the 9 wood. 
 

I do hit my 7 wood very well. Thats the main reason I’ve been intrigued by a 9 wood.

Zx7 into zx4 seems a little odd. Any reason you didn't go with the ZX5 instead? The zx4 head is super hot and prone to the occasional flyer at the speed you have. I have the srixon ZX utility 4 iron and I love that club. Super forgiving but less prone to those wicked flyers you get with the zx4. That would be my reccomendation for the 4 iron. Maybe try a zx5 instead of the zx4 in the 5 iron as well. My 6 iron is my 205 club and I carry that zx utility 4 iron about 230.

For whatever reason the ZX4 looked better to my eye than the ZX5. Might have to look into the ZX Utility.

For starters, try out a $-Taper S-Flex (120 grams) in your 5i. Then, consider a 4H to replace the 4i. (direct overlap of 4i with 5i distance indicates the point where you could try a hybrid.)

Could the loft be messed up on the 4i? Would think you would crush the zx4, it almost is a DI

Utility iron..

srixon makes a great one. 
so does ping and mizuno 

something around 23-24 degrees should be in your wheel house (if that 7 wood is 21*)
