Just a heads up, received this email this morning in answer to my enquiry - 

 

Thank you for your inquiry. The stores will be having a Memorial Day 50% bonus trade-in towards the purchase of new clubs. This starts on May 23 and runs thru May 27.

 

Gonna take this opportunity to trade in my G400 Max for a G430 Max 10k👍

I didn't know anyone ever gets rid of G400 Max drivers!  Find something else to trade in and keep it as backup.  I'm interested in the new one but very hesitant to part with the G400max.  It's just a great driver  I appreciate you letting us know about the extra good trade-in.  I'm going to find some other stuff and hopefully get a G430max 10K

The bonus shows when you go through their online trade in. It shows up specifically as “bonus.”

 

It’s not a banner on their website (yet, I guess?)

Can you do custom orders through Worldwide Golf Shops or is it what you see on the site is what you can order? I’d like to trade in several shafts but wasn’t crazy with their inventory if they can’t do custom orders on clubs.

I did this yesterday and they applied the bonus towards the club rather than giving me a gift card for 50% bonus.

Called the nearest golfdom next to me and they confirmed the 50% trade in value bonus.  Works on all clubs except Ping and Scotty.  Was debating on whether I should drive the hour to go, asked if they had an 8* TSR2, and they had one left, with the shaft I wanted.  

 

One word: It's go time!

Traded in 2 G400 Max today for a 430 Max 10k

 

Tried it out a couple days ago, for my slow swing the Alta CB 55 works well.

 

Got $124 each for the 400’s, with the 50% bonus came to $372, then Utah adds tax back so about $399 credit total

 

Got home, changed the grip to my CP2 wrap jumbo, tee time Sunday at 3, first outdoor swing with it will be on the first tee😆

You don't need to trade towards anything. You can go through the process on their website just to trade stuff in and get a gift card, no purchase of any other gear required.

No. There’s nothing that says you’re obligated to put it towards new clubs.

I did this for some old gear that I shipped in (looks like it's all through Mikes Golf Outlet).  It's been more than a month now.  Did anyone who did this by shipping in get their credit yet?

Yes, I got my gift cards 2 weeks ago and they honored the bonus.Turned out to be a great deal.

sometimes Mikes takes a bit, but not a month

they were received at mikes over a month ago and still nuthin. 
they said they’d check with mikes and call me back.   That was a bout a week ago so I guess I need to call back and check in.  

 

any one other than me seeing this?

Traded some items to Mike's last week. I shipped to their Hartford CT address with the label they provided.  Shipped last Friday and received the payout (store credit) today.  Payout notification came from Rob Violet, Purchasing Manager, Swing Em' Again Golf.
