Still in mine. Im glad its finally getting some recognition because for a while it seemed under the radar.

I love seeing it in the WITB as someone mentioned earlier its starting to be in a good amount of PGA guys bags. Its weird I never got along with Ventus stuff or GD but man Mitsubishi stuff seems to just work for me. I wanted to deny it for so long but.

The WB 63TX is an amazingly good driver shaft for me too and it outperformed both the Ventus Black and Ventus TR Black when I tested them all, the WB in TX flex is super stout though but still feels pretty smooth so its no surprise that it has become so popular on tour especially with the heavy loaders / bombers, Champ plays the 63TX in driver while Woodland plays the 73TX, the 83TX is being played in fairway woods by Champ, Woodland, List plus a few others although for most golfers I reckon that the BB 83TX may be a better fairway wood shaft.

Still loving my 63TX. Looks like Justin Rose has one in the bag now. He has been using a PX Black 60 for a long time but he definitely had a Whiteboard in his driver today on the Tiger Woods Golf League

I’ve started to see the WB in a lot of Tour bags now. Rickie, Adam Scott, Molinari, Jay Day, and a bunch of other lesser names.

Shafts seem to take a year or so before they get a lot of tour adoption. Maybe the Ventus craze is dying off finally as well.

Dont get me wrong ventus is a great shaft, as all fuji products, but i think some people have FOMO, fear of missing out. This is the first MCA shaft in a long time that I can say is every bit as good.

I was fitted into a 63tx back in October and it has been a very good shaft for me. For a while I just couldn’t miss with it. Still enjoying it but just not hitting driver all that well lately. I have a velocore+ black 6x on the way that I’m going to test against it at my clubs performance center. Will report back on the numbers.

I have the 63TX myself Tipped 1”. I tested it directly against the Ventus Black 6x velocore, RDX smoke Green 60 and a T1100 tx.  The WB has won the battle.

Yip, quite a few bombers have played the WB in drivers and fairway woods recently including Champ, Woodland and List and its popularity on tour has definitely grown as you mention.

Did you add any weight to the head?  My original thought was I was going to get the Velocore in 7x and tip it 1" but I got a good deal on the 6x to try, so whichever one loses out might get tipped.

I’m usually a lead tape warrior but right now I’m using a 7.5 degree cobra Aerojet LS without any tape on it. Most of my prior heads weighed in the 194-196 range and I’d add 2-4g of tape. The plain Aerojet LS weighs 199 grams

Has anyone tested this side by side with the og whiteboard? I believe it’s supposed to be essentially the same profile with updated/better materials but would be interested to see the results. I have a 73x og wb and I get just as good of ball speed with that as any shaft today and I’ve tried them all. The only reason I don’t game it consistently is I miss left a little too often with it. Maybe this version is a bit more stable.

Im not 100% sure on this, but from my understanding the 2024 WB isnt quite the same profile as the OG. I think the 2024 is closer in line to the Tensei Pro white.

Best info I could find.

Thank you for sharing. I've actually gotten along pretty well with 1k White so WB could be worth exploring. I'd guess there are some differences in materials and such, but with two profiles that look almost identical, not sure how much difference there would be.

As I have mentioned previously on here, Mitsubishi has designed the Diamana WB shaft with different shaft profiles between flexes and weight classes, the softer flexes such as R and S (especially in the light weights) have a bit softer mid and handle sections so they will be pretty similar to the Tensei Pro White 1K but in the X and TX flexes the WB are a much much stouter shaft with the mid and handle sections being much more like a Ventus Black / Ventus TR Black than a typical Whiteboard profile such as the Tensei Pro White 1K so they are ideally suited to strong and aggressive heavy loaders like Gary Woodland and Cam Champ who both play the WB, any player who hits the WB 63 TX and 83 TX as I have will surely agree that these WB TX shafts will be much too stout (and heavy feeling) for players who are used to playing shafts with a much softer handle such as the Tensei Pro White 1K.

I was suggested the New WB by a fitter on here versus the Red+ I'm using/enjoying. Don't need to change by any means the numbers with my red + 6x tipped 1.5" is maxing out. Playing 44.75" in GT3 vs 45" in TM seems to be giving up little and maybe more center contact.

Always curious to test new stuff, but I'm wondering how the butt diameter is in the handle of this new WB. Ive had multiple diamana/tensei shafts and always seem to prefer fuji shafts. Not a fan of the much wider diameter diamana usually has in the hands.

This new one seems to have some similarities to the new Red, but minor tweaks. Recently had a VF 6x but wasn't loading it fully. I have the DJ proto shaft which matches the black/vf. Its fairly solid but little heavier than i like. On average not the biggest fan of linear.

I did notice denny mccarthy switched into the new wb from the blue og 6tx a shaft i had/liked.  Thinking i'm gonna go new wb 63tx tipped .5" 44.75" if get one.

Interesting. Im not a heavy loader at all and just got 6tx and 7tx in my fairways. Ill have to do more testing as just got them but I dont find the 5tx to be like a ventus black at all. Maybe TR blue in terms of feel.

The specs on the 6 and up weight classes use butt diameter ranging from .602-.606 depending on flex.

How’d the black + vs WB results shake out? I’m torn between the two for my next shaft. Red + indoors is amazing but having issues on course

The whiteboard won out with the Callaway Ai Smoke TD Max. Was a fantastic combo with great feel.

When I swapped to the g440lst it didn’t fair so well. I tried tipping 1/2 inch and the shaft just felt unstable for me. Tried the black again and it was just still not the feel I was looking for.

I really enjoyed the GD AD VF 6x in this head but was just a touch more linear feeling than I like. I wound up settling on the velocore+ blue 6x and it was a great in between point for me. Still stable, but very easy to feel the load and has done wonders for my driving.

@weems @LeftDash14

How did the WB react to getting tipped? Currently have the 73TX @ 45.5 untipped.

Struggled with missing it left and felt slightly loose at impact (I hit a baby cut as my stock shot so left is usually trouble). I started choking down slightly and that helped a lot, although I’m thinking tipping (.5 likely) will be my best go forward solution to shorten it a bit and tighten it up a bit. I do love the shaft and was fit into it so not trying to pursue other options at this time.
