Where’d you get that center shafted model? Love it. I see the 2025 line has a center shaft jailbird which has me intrigued but I like the brown finish and the three dots yours has!

The had a slant neck San Diego as a garage option in the Third gen. Don’t believe the have it as an option in the 2024 first run putters.

Shoutout to the Toulon family. They went out of their way today to help me get a putter I was looking for. My first Toulon, but won’t be my last!

I can’t wait to see what I’ll get built in March. I’m a few weeks out and I’ll definitely have a lot to report back on. Teasing a bit here but I’m stoked. So incredibly stoked and looking forward to it. My Small Batches are so good but I’m very excited to see what’s next for me!

LAUNCH DAY!

 

The '25 line is insanely good-looking, y'all. Has anyone on here picked something up? I am thinking of doing a heavy build with one of the new options.

Love the new Hollywood but $600 is a lot to spend when I can’t see it in person or try the feel.

Yep, first thing this morning,ordered a mini Alcatraz slant, black shaft, heavy weights, 34”, 1 flat

The Hollywood is really nice, wish that one was a lefty option even if I don't play plumbers necks much. Glad to see the Austin in LH but not a setup I play.

 

From afar the 25 line looks better than the 24 line, as a possible consumer nothing for me.

i might be in the minority here but I think the 24’ line was better looking. From the finish to overall clean look. Was excited that the Austin was made in lefty but bummed they moved site line to flange.

I guess depends which models like Hollywood > San Diego because I like a tri sole over a rocker sole. 

 

The Austin would have been nice with a dot or topline or naked, not sure why gotta have a flange line.

 

I'd say make them naked and charge for alignments but probably messes up finish.

I think the '25 line is very pretty.  That being said the '24 Las Vegas crank neck is a work of art.  It's angular with a square flange and downright beautiful.

I joined the Toulon putter users group this week when I ordered a 2025 Alcatraz counterbalanced putter.  The customer service from Toulon was incredible!  I talked with both Jon and Sean before placing my order.  They were incredibly helpful and I placed my order Wednesday morning.  They did some custom engraving and I received the putter Friday.  I took it out today for the first round and it was absolutely awesome.  The quality was incredible and it rolled fantastically.  While this is my first Toulon, it will certainly not be my last!

What specific model?  Different models of the '24 feel quite different.

The face depth on the LV '24 is pretty thin.  You can see they made it thicker on the '25 LV, most likely to give the putter a thuddier feel, which I think would be an improvement, not having rolled the new model.  Not saying that the '24 feels bad, only that I've heard mixed opinions from friends who have rolled my '24.

Stout’s correct. Depending on the face thickness, it will create a softer or firmer feel. While the milling and 304 stainless is a constant, neck designs, multi-material, overall weight, and face thickness play a role in the feel and sound of the head. A lot of these will feel similar or at least fall under the theme of soft. 
 

The ‘24 line is firmer but not clicky. They still retain a sweet feeling at impact but offer more feedback than the ‘25 line. I’d love to see how I fit into the ‘25 line and compare it to a ‘24 model. I LOVE the chocolate finish.

I’m thinking of ordering the Miami.  I’ll reach out to get more  pictures before the order. I like the alignment, but want to understand how much curve thee line has from front to back. 

 

The Vegas will be hard to beat out.

That personalization was a nice touch. Is this something that you had to pay extra for or did they just do it out of good faith?

There was no extra charge for the personalization which did surprise me.  I emailed with them before placing the order about it.  I then let them know my order number and they pulled it for the engraving.  I ordered it on Wednesday and it shipped Thursday.

That's awesome! These guys are going to earn a lot of customers with little things like this. I'm going to go ahead and order one now. I can't fight the urge on that Alcatraz mini any longer.

J, the Alcatraz Mini draws inspiration from their earlier Seattle model. It looks fantastic, and I can’t wait to see one in person. Honestly, the more I examine all the models, the more intrigued I become by them.
