It's going to be close, yes. It's not quite the same as they will make subtle changes to refine what they've done before in previous iterations of putters.

Yes, but  heavier than the SM,La Jolla Tri-Sole is more of a "suggestion"  than the SM. Beautiful stick though!

All I know is that Scotty's new putter line has carbon steel inserts so I'm super glad I got my Carbon Proto. 😄 I've seen Carbon Protos in stock on some online golf sites since they sold out. I hope Toulon puts out more soon for y'all.

Has anyone gamed their First Run a fair amount? I’ve been eyeing an Austin but wanted to see how the finish wears.

The finish holds up very well. Like most things, take care of it, and it'll take care of you. I haven't had a single issue with any of my Toulon putters. If I had, y'all would know. Not in a "let's bash an OEM" type of way but still. Facts would be given and the facts are that their putters are quality. The chocolate finish on the '24 line is my favorite.

Good god this small batch La Jolla is sexy. I like how the corners are a bit more rounded. Some Answer 2 style putters are just too square for my liking.

I played the majority of last season with my Las Vegas, doesn’t show any wear, but I keep the cover on when I’m not using it & don’t abuse it when I am.

 

Agree with @MerryTex 1000%, the ‘24 First run chocolate is absolutely gorgeous.

Standard chrome shaft (GOAT had one although his is stepped) and the stock Toulon Deep Etched Cord.

Slap a double serving of premium automotive ceramic coating on that beauty and you will have zero wear issues.
