My guess Probably assembled US but components overseas. Either way great putter.

@MerryTexThank you for posting pics of your Toulons.  I have a First Run Memphis and purchased a 2025 Alcatraz Mini.  I spoke with Preston several times before I landed on the Alc Mini but could never get used to the small sight line on the top rail or the cutout.  My first instinct was to get the Atlanta but Preston recommended the Mini due to a longer blade length and more MOI.  After reading about your experience in the studio and seeing pics, could you provide any more insight than you already have on the Atlanta?  Thank you!

I didn't have much success with the Alc Mini, but had more with the Atlanta H1. If I went with something with a cutout, I prefer the whole putter to be more proportionate. It just didn't jive with me visually like the regular Alcatraz. Atlanta performed very well for me in the studio. My consistency was great with it. I think the tweak we made was to add a degree of loft and maintain a 70° lie angle. To be fair, I prefer a dot on my putters rather than the line in the flange that the Atlanta has. My Valhalla and La Jolla both have the dot, and I perform much better with them. This being said, I took out Atlanta and rolled the ball on my mat and didn't miss.

STUNNER! I love the Carbon Proto line they did. I'd love to see more carbon steel stuff from them.

Yeah, I'm a total sucker for carbon steel putters, and have always gravitated to fang style no.7s. But a carbon steel fang putter, come on!

Love it! Has a solid feel that isn't too harsh. You know for sure that you hit the sweet spot. Feels really nice coming off the putter.

I believe most are limited to 75.

Correct. 75 is usually the number. Also, I’d reach out to them if they’re ever sold out that day. Sometimes orders fall through and they’ll have a couple on hand at times because of that. I got lucky with Valhalla. It was well after the fact and snagged one. 
 

On that note, I was rolling that putter alongside La Jolla and boy does it feel good. As nice as my LJ is, Valhalla feels incredible. Just a deep, solid hit.

Been wanting this size of mallet for a while. It was between the Carlsbad, the Miami and the TM spider x proto. Ended up picking the Carlsbad. We’ll see how it goes. Feel is amazing on the carpet. Feedback is nice. Need to find some fast putting greens to test. Went Diamana 35”.

Update to my first day out with the Carlsbad - this thing is awesome. Got in a quick 9 holes this am. I have the 2025 Austin and love the feel but this thing hits different. The same soft feel off the face but the shape and extra weight really make it sturdy. My lag putting was on point. Still getting used to no sight line but only missed one putt that was 3ft or so out which was the first hole so go figure. 
Honeymoon stage is good. We’ll see how it goes.

How does the tuna mill feel on the new line?  I love the look but don't like the soft feel that comes with deep milling.

Outside of a late 90’s carbon Newport with a smooth face, might be my all time favorite face milling

I have been eyeing the Carlsbad ever since launch.  Can you comment on the balance/flow?  I'm curious because Toulon says it's designed to weight front heavy

I don’t feel it to be heavier in the front. It feels balanced to me. The perimeter weighting is nice and what I was looking for in a mallet this size. My lag putting has been really good with this.

agreed with most others here-- hollywood is noticeably softer/more muted than my other 303SS blade that has a shallow milling, but not enough to the point that it kills feedback

How do you think a smooth face lineup would do for Toulon?  We haven't seen many from OEMs recently.

Ping had the smooth face on the Heppler line, which I liked but apparently was not super popular. Those are great putters IMO. I had the Fetch. 
 

Here is what I wonder: why can’t someone offer a smooth face if we want it? Just skip the face milling if the customer chooses. Does not seem too challenging with modern technology. 
 

I also do not like mushy feeling putters. The Toulon feels like a nice middle ground to me. I really like the firmness of the Bettinardi Mini Honeycomb in the 2025 Queen Bee lineup (my favorite, the wide blade QB8 feels firm-ish, though the Honeycomb milling has evolved to slightly less firm than it used to be) and I’d say my Toulon Miami is in the same ballpark. They still feel solid but not mushy and not harsh.

 

They did a great job on these putters. A lot of attention to detail. Personally, I think the weight-forward design on the mallets is a big plus, as much as a responsive face, especially if you’ve been rolling blades or wide blades. None of that backweight drag. Ball gets rolling and gets to the hole, but you still have a putter with high MOI.

Heppler I would have tried, but the looks were a non starter.  When was the last time a premium milled line was launched with a smooth face?  I can't recall.  Normally we only see them in tour putters.
