Love my Toulon Atlanta, best shaped putter on the entire market tbh and that deep diamond milling is the perfect feel.

I'd still be using it if it were face balanced, may have to look into finding a face balanced Atlanta at some point

Awesome to hear about your Vegas. They’ve got that solid “tock” sound and put a good roll on the ball. I might be putting a Diamana in my Texas like I did the Vegas.

Tock almost sounds too hard for what I was hearing today. It was just lovely.

The Diamana was interesting. It definitely felt softer than the BGT One I've got in my other putter.

Just following up on my post from yesterday. This is the best feeling putter I've tried for years, and for me far better than the Odyssey Toulons. M

I've used mallets for a long time as I've always appreciated the help with alignment. But often they don't feel as good as the classics.

This is the first mallet that actually feels like a classic Carbon Cameron from back in the day. Feedback was fantastic while the wings helped with alignment. And the finish is gorgeous.

I'm really interested in what they do next.

I am also interested in their next steps. I’d love to get another putter from their next run. I’d imagine they’ll have a new line - color and a few other shapes at least that’s what I am hoping for!

Their putters are so good. I will say that they possess a different feel from Scotty Cameron and Bettinardi and it makes them unique. I love my Small Batch Texas. I just put a Golf Pride Pro Only Cord Green Star grip on it and it’s great. The 904 material has a nice feel to it and provides perfect feedback.

Just got a Las Vegas DB 2022 on sale, so only paid £208.

Had my first round with it yesterday and was very impressed.

Looks, sound and feel all excellent, especially the sound off the face when rolling a prov1x and had my most solid putting round for quite a while.

Added another to the collection - Seattle. Used a failed Oban White shaft in an arm lock grip, feels great. Soft, light and good distance control.

Got the Latrobe and SSM back in the stability shafts, also in arm lock.

It's too bad they are both pin configured, otherwise, I also want to go graphite. Haven't found a solution yet to convert graphite into flare tip.

Thanks to good ol’ FedEx, my shipping got delayed with no updated arrival time. I’m out of town for the week and was planning on taking it with me for my round on Wednesday.

Guess I’ll have to wait until I get back home. Was really looking forward to using it on my

trip.

Sorry to hear that happened man. My bag was recently delayed in a city two hours from me so it took two extra days. Weird. I hope it works out for you once you do get your hands on it.

Sorry but those over the hosel blades look terrible with the big and fat stability shafts installed in them.  I bet having those shafts really takes away from the classic look of the putters at address.

Played my first round with the blacked out Alcatraz. I loved looking down at it and loved the alignment with it but not too crazy about the sound/feel off the face. It’s not the deeper thud you get from the current SC and PLD lines. It’s a bit harsher and higher pitched to me.

Could be exactly what someone else prefers but it’s not my favorite. I wish he put the same diamond milled face as his older Odyssey stuff on the new stuff.

My preference is also for a thuddier sound.  I venture to guess that it's more the face thickness/aluminum than the milling pattern.  I like the feeling of my LV but some putts feel more hollow than thuddy if that makes sense.

Edit: does it need some 3M tape?  As badly as I putted with my Phantom 5.5 the feel was amazing.  Just a thought

So is it firm, like a flat-faced steel putter? Or is it more the pitch?

I assume they have saved weight under the sole plate. Could be face thickness as @StoutKing says.

I rolled used ones the other day, some with the diamond milling only on the middle of the face and some with full face diamond milling, and those all felt nice.

I would say both. Definitely on the firmer side but probably more so the pitch that I’m not too crazy about. A lot of people would say “feel” is actually all just sound. But I’ve rolled milled putters with extremely fine/no face milling at all that have sounded better to me so I do think maybe it’s a face thickness thing.

It must just be those models, because the Memphis and Atlanta first runs don't feel/sound anything like that.

I keep coming back to the Atlanta. Very subtle changes they have made to soften the lines a bit vs previous versions. It looks great. I always give a good look to any putter with top line alignment only! But size-wise this one looks like the perfect tweener between blade and mallet. It’s not big.

you're right, i'm going to fix it. It deserves to look better. As i mentioned, i'm having some difficulty with the flare neck requirement.

I have an idea for it, just not sure how it's going to turn out. Will check tonight if it's going to be possible.

You’re supposed to leave some steel shaft and then epoxy the carbon part to it…

I noted that too but I was like uhh he's using a wood shaft as a putter shaft so maybe he's into the frankenstein stuff. 😂

I know how it's meant to be, however, both of my BGT broke and I couldn't bore enough clearance in it to fit steel in again.

And yes, I like using the extra shafts I have as putter feel experiments. I just modified the flare tip to host a graphite shaft, once I can get my grip saved, it will be a  successful mission 😏

Glad this thread is here.

Looking for background on this limited garage Vegas I just had delivered. Picked up from one of the Japan proxy services (at about half the cost as the couple I see on eBay).

It looks like there are a number of models (saw an Atlanta as well) in this blue finish and “Limited 229” on the bottom. Guessing Japan only, but anyone familiar?

Related - my other Vegas with a gripmaster hitting BST soon 🙂

Don’t have any info on that putter but nice color👍

Just want to give another shout out to the Toulons for the excellent customer care both before & after sales!

As I posted, received my First Run Las Vegas last Wednesday, played a round Thursday & loved it, but found the standard mid size grip a little small for my liking. (should have ordered the oversize)

Emailed Sean Thursday, he was traveling but copied Preston on the reply.  Preston replied immediately, graciously got an oversized grip off to me that day, & it’s out for delivery today!
