Personally, I went with an s300 this time.  Always been a s400 guy but convinced a little flexibly helps for partial shots.  That's why they stock the s200 for mortals...

I ground the leading edge on my LBK with a $5 file and sandpaper. Looks just like this. It’s super easy to do and came out great. I didn’t do the trailing edge because I think it would make it play less forgiving out of the bunker. 
 

I think the leading edge grind on the wedge made it play way better off a tight lie. The leading edge on the LBK is sharp and will dig if you come in a bit steep even if the sole is designed to be pretty forgiving.

wanted to do a quick review for those wondering. I'm a previous M-grind user. I bought the K* out of sheer boredom lol.

 

But...its beautiful and i love my new wedgeworks stick. Chipped about 100 balls from all over, and hit about 20 out of sand ( i didn't want to hit anymore sand shots than that because i was putting a lot of damage on my new wedge and i was sad about it 😂). As soon as i realized i could play the K* just like my M did in the sand, i got my a*s outta there. I'm rarely in bunkers anyways for some reason, not complaining, just sayin.. And tbh, I'm not the guy for a bunker wedge review. My bunker play is too vanilla.

 

In a word, the K* is brilliant in dry conditions (we haven't had rain in 2 months). Everything i did with it worked flawlessly. It was around the greens that i noticed how smooth the K* was compared to M. Not sure the reason, it just was. It just glided through everything in any which way i wanted it to. Bump and run, low spinny, high spinny, low run, deep rough, short rough, were all great. i even tried to get steep on purpose and stabbed at it from tighter lies, and it gave me some of the best brakes I've seen in a while. But its the new grooves. It wont last forever lol. Now again, this is all from very dry conditions. Things are easier when its dry. Having said all of that, i think the K* still requires good mechanics and precision. It is NOT a one size fit all club. To me, its best played with a slightly opened face. It doesn't matter if its slightly open or wide open. It WILL slide under the ball no question. Leading edge stays down better than the Mgrind 100%. Not saying M was bad, but the K* did it much better. I'm a shallow delivery guy in case anyone's wondering.

 

In a nutshell, I'm just glad i don't have to change anything about my club delivery. It was very important that the K* does not require me to do anything diff than i did with the M. I wanted the club to fit me, and not me fitting to the club. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. This will be in my bag for the next few years. The raw finish has already darkened (see pic) a lot too which is great.

 

Now i just have to wait for rain to see how big of a trench i can carve out.

Just got mine, its sick.  Gets in the ground quick but gets out quick.  I loved the TM TW 60 but a 58 gaps better for me.  This is perfect.  For reference I am  coming from an M grind 58

Sadly it didn't, which I'm sure you already know by now. I would have IMMEDIATELY ordered this one.. Never seen a lob wedge that fit my game more than this. Ugh.

Just got my 60K* yesterday and took to range today. I play off a 2.5 and have a solid short game. Have been playing a MG4 TW all year in my lob wedge. Courses here in the south are very, very, very tight Bermuda around the greens. This wedge is amazing. Handled these tight lies perfectly. I could pop them up or do low spinny pitches no problem. The trail grind keeps the leading edge nice and low when you need to hit a high one. We had one bunker that was very fluffy sand and another that was extremely hard packed. This thing handled both easily. Even with the low bounce the wide sole really helped the soft sand. Didn’t really have any real rough to practice out so can’t comment on that. Probably ordering a backup today so I have a replacement on hand. Anyone who plays out of really tight lies should love this.

OK dude this is what we need. lol... Can you get AD on an q & A on here? Compare A,A+,V,AD,K*& T? You can make it happen and we have info all over the place on here They should all lie in one new thread. The thread starting with a Q&A w/ AD...

oh you are. Hence one of the reasons I play Mizuno wedges. Figure $150 a wedge and can replace every year and not feel bad about it or if you damage the wedge too

Loved this wedge on a Thanksgiving trip BUT struggled from the bunker.

 

As long as I have an F grind 54/56 in the bag to play from bunkers, this thing has serious potential.

 

EDIT:  I wanted to expand on/revise my post for those looking for reviews on the K*.  I think the sand on FL was very soft where I first tried the club, and that my technique was off and I wasn't opening the club face enough.  I still like have an F Grind in the bag, but the K* is definitely an option.  I even hit it head to head with the V Grind, which is great from the sand, and the K* stacked up well.
