Awesome! I see you're gaming GT2 plus Autoflex Dream as well - how is that combo working out?

It’s the best driver combo I’ve had this year. I have some GD shafts i have tried in the GT and they are good. But the AF Dream makes that GT2 head come alive.

So I have played 2 rounds with my new GT2 driver and noticed a couple of things.  This may be specific to me and my swing, but thought it was worth sharing.  It has a nice solid feel.  The lines on the face that frame the ball are a great addition. The heel miss with this driver seems to be better than the TSR2 (less spin so less of a slice).  This driver is more draw biased than the TSR2 in my hands.  My setting with the TSR2 is A4, I am left handed so this is - .75 degree loft.  With the GT2, I am having to put it on B4, which is -.75 degree loft and - .75 degree lie angle in order to reduce the draw bias flight.  I need a few more rounds with it, but just thought I would share this information.

I’m a low launch, high spin player. Got fit a couple days ago coming from og Stealth Plus 10.5. I am about 3 or 4 degrees down AoA on Trackman and spinning the Stealth as high as 4,000 rpms. Got fit into GT4 10 degree and Ventus TR Black and it got the spin into mid 2,000s. Great driver and I wish I didn’t love the shaft so much $$$

Demo guys at my local muni.  Tried the 4 with a few shafts, but they had the same one as my gamer.  It felt and acted like the TSr4.  Numbers on the GCQ were nearly identical to the TSi4 that I was gaming with Tensei 1k Orange (my TSr4 got stolen).

Before anybody freaks out too much about the revolutionary changes, the COR limit has been 83% since like 2003.

Just tested using trackman and Titleist rct ball today.

Had my tsr3 10 degree (struggled with the hook recently) and tested the GT2 and Gt3 with the same old shaft in the tsr3. I haven't played for a month and the body is a little bit stiff. However, the first 3 shots of GT2 are dead straight, on the line (250 yards carry, similar to tsr 3,but dead straight) Longest drive was with GT2 with 268carry and 293 total.

The shape of GT2 feels also less big than the tsr2,which is quite pleasant on the eyes. The sound is less metalic but still nice.

I will upgrade the tsr3 to the gt2.

Had a fitting this morning on Trackman + RCT.

Have played Darkspeed LS and Qi10LS so far this season with the intention of picking up the new Titleist offering at release. DS LS was def the better head by a decent margin for me with stronger flight and great spin profile, however due to some shaft cracking/issues, picked up a Qi10 LS on some credit to bridge the gap and fit some old shafts that were laying around. Have gotten down below scratch with these in the bag this year and hover around 110mph club.

Shaft was pretty set with the Ventus Black+ 6X recently received on warranty for an OG Black, so it was down to picking the head. Was leaning to GT4 after a quick session at a local store, but wanted to confirm with my normal fitter after some weird numbers.

All three heads are very similar in my experience. The GT2 was much more low spinning than expected and the shape is great as many have said here. GT3 is another solid iteration from TSr3, nothing notably different other than my own personal issues with past "3" heads. GT4 looks great and gets really good ball speed with a more solid feel. Overall, each head was exactly what so many people here have said already. Sound and feel are amazing as expected.

I ended up in the GT4, but with the heavy weight in the back. Initially went back and forth between all 3 heads trying to fight off some spin that has creeped into the swing. They all performed very, very similar for myself and could have played all three easily. Better dispersion with the 2 & 3 but better numbers/flight in the 4, finally switched the weights in the 4 and was immediately hitting long straight moon shots and ended the fitting 20 min early. To me, the 4 plays so much like the Darkspeed LS with the weight forward/back + a bit more speed + its a Titleist and I'm a snob. All in all, gained about 15 yds of carry over the Qi10 LS but mainly from spin management and much better consistency in speed/spin across the face.

I went to a GT fitting event this week.

Ive been struggling massively off the tee for the past couple months. I even used credits to upgrade from G425 to 10K with plenty of rounds that looked like the image posted.

Showed up to the fitting with super low expectations and my first 5 drives with my own driver were 4 snap hooks and a big block right like usual lol

Fitter handed me a driver and boom 3 dead straight lasers. spin was a little low 1800-1900. tried a few settings and shafts and continued to a hit about 20 awesome drives.

I figured it was all user error for some time now. is it possible it was the driver setup this whole time. confused.

Anyone here move from TSR3 9 to GT3 9? What did you gain? A little better dispersion from spin across the face, little lower launch/spin? I like my TSR3 but have some shop money burning a hole in my pocket.

If you got shop money then just go for it! Its all player dependent you might not gain anything, you might gain a little. Is it worth the $650 upgrade thats in the eye of the beholder.

Yeah, I'm about to do that and see how it goes. Just curious what other folks here are seeing at this point. Especially those around 110 swing speed. I'm in rarified air here for myself in that I like everything in my bag so trying to decide between this and a putter (shhh please don't tell my putter so it doesn't act up now).

Did you have to lower the headweight of the GT2 significantly to get to the right AF D7 recommended swingweight?

I'm afraid of getting into the GT4, even with the heavy weight in the back.  I'm wondering if I can make a 2/4 with some hot melt into the front of the club for some forward weight, and still get the forgiveness of the 2 head.  Does anyone have an opinion on where the hot melt might go to achieve that?  I play TS3 with the weight in T1, as most misses are a little toe-side, and a little high on the face.

I have the stock head-weight of the GT2.    One of the advantages of having the Titleist fitter at my course every month is I wanted to see if he felt it needed a different weight in the head.   And he did not.   The results pretty much spoke for themselves, he told me if it didn't feel superlight to me then he wouldn't mess with the weights as there was nothing in the flight or numbers that he saw that needed weight adjustment, we adjust the Sure Fit  setting to C3 and that was it.

You have a sweet putter.  I’m also playing the WB and picked up about 3-4 mph in an to apples comparison with the new GT 3.

My understanding that the TSr4 with the weight in the back played like a 3.5.  The GT4 with their weight in the back is a 2.5.  I would try it before you hot melt it.

I had a strange fitting experience with the GT line. My SS is very consistent at 100-102 and my usual spin numbers are mid 2000's. I am a 1 handicap so while I don't hit it that far, I strike it pretty good most the time. My current gamer shaft is Venus Blue 5-S Velocore Plus in a TD Max. I tested this in the GT2, GT3 and GT4. The 2 had similar numbers to my gamer, maybe a bit more spin and a bit less carry. I didn't get a long with the 3. Was about 3 yards shorter carry and just didn't feel right. I wasn't even going to toss in the GT4 because common knowledge would tell me it wouldn't work. Well.... My averages were better with this than anything I have seen. My average carry was 260 with an average total distance of 286. This was 5 yards longer carry and 8 yards longer total than anything else. Spin was 2k and my dispersion was tighter than all others as well. I took this to the course yesterday and saw the same thing as the LM was showing. Shocked and super happy as this is the best feeling to me of anything I have tested. Anyone with similar experience?

Got GT4 to the course last night and have honestly never hit the ball longer off the tee. Took a bit of fine tuning with some lead tape and dropped the loft down a notch, but finished the day with two drives that were about 15 yds longer than where my normal shots have been on those holes. One down wind and one back into it.

Despite a bit higher launch than what I typically see, the visual difference in ball speed is very, very impressive and the distance into the wind last night was something I have never seen.

swing around 110-112 outdoors, just below scratch, currently playing heavy weight in the back.

I just don't think I want a 430cc head.  But I will have the option to try everything before making a decision outdoors.  And yeah, if the GT4 is more like a 2.5 with the weight in the back, I'd rather try to make the 2 a 2.5 and gain the 30cc of size.  I know that's miniscule, but.  I want a 2 without the spin.  lol

I would second this. The weight in the back of the GT4 is impressively forgiving in my limited experience, launch is more what I would expect from a 2 head as well.

I would bet it is a good bit more forgiving than your TS3...
