GT2 is locked in! 430LST is already gone. Sound and looks department was a give in. But after about 6 rounds with Ventus TR blue 6x love it. Performs great getting some more yards and straight. Never did try the GT3 but not sure how much better it could get to be honest

Have not read the entire thread so if this was covered previously apologies.  Would love to hear comparisons between g430 max and Gt2.

I’ve hit both, boy side by side, but with similar shafts on trackman.  430 max spun 500 or so revs higher for me.  Both retained ball speed similarly well.

 

the gt2 spin about the same as the lst for me, but had higher ball speed

Found this for a weight kit on Ebay but can confirm they're not correct. I've got a green and black green was 5g and black was 11g

Went from Tsi3 to GT3 from a "mini" fitting on a launch monitor, same shaft.  Not sure about dispersion, but definitely gained 15+ yards on good strikes.  At the usual track, I was hitting quite a few approach shots with at least one club shorter into the green.  Actually holed out a gap wedge for eagle on my 2nd round with the GT3.

Unfortunately, I demo'd a GT2 yesterday from my club. While I do game a TSR2, the GT2 felt great.

 

I don't have trackman numbers, or the perfect shaft combination, but I hit this thing so well yesterday. The sound off the driver is improved in my opinion.

 

I do not NEED this driver, but after hitting it for one round I want this driver. lol

I have.  I love a muted crack, but the Smoke TD is almost too dead...it's muted without the crack to go with it (almost silent).  IMO, nothing sounds/feels better than the GT2 (and I haven't gamed a Titleist driver consistently since the 910 series).  The Qi35 was right there with it, but the GT2 just feels a bit faster, more explosive off the face.  All that being said, I did NOT hit the new Elyte series of clubs....

Update that Noone asked for. Ended up playing the gt4 for a few weeks and felt like it was too draw bias with the shaft combo I had. Toyed with a buddies GT2 9⁰ W A 5X TR BLACK  but ended up in a GT3 10⁰ c1, 10g weight t1 back in the velo+ red. Absolute winner

Just scooped a gt3 10 for a second try on the GT line. Gt2 10 with red plus was a hook machine for me. Will be playing it in red + 6x 44.75” tipped 1.5, c1.
 

we’ll see if it can dethrone my Qi10 dot Ventus red 6x + and maybe one other combo arriving in a week (qi 35 ls w/vf or red + 😅)

The gt2 is g430 level good if you don't fight left. I always wish the would've made the gt2 with the tsr3 back track

I think you’re going to love the gt3 10.  Did you get heavier head weight?

 

I just moved into a gt3 at 10 degrees playing at 45 inches with a plus 6 headweight.  Right at d4.5 with a midsize grip.  Was playing a the  qi10 dot and gt is more forgiving, faster and spin better (less variation)

I haven’t checked the actual weighting on gt3 need to do some research there. Head weighs 198 which is right in the middle of my tm heads (197 dot, 200 m2 16, and sim). 
 

Should sw out well but possibly need a few more grams to get to d3-4. 
 

Yeah I’m excited to have a driver showdown when I get everything in!

Late to the party here, but…I had a qi10 LS with Fujikura X Stiff, played this all season in ‘24. Never really liked the sound or feel of the carbon face, but hit it decent enough to finally retire my SLDR.  I recently brought it into a local shop and hit it against several drivers and chose the GT3 with the Tensei 1k black X stiff.  $250 trade value toward it.  This is just me, but I consistently hit 15-20 mph faster ball speeds with the GT3 and gained 25-30yds with the GT3.  I was shocked and did not expect those kinds of numbers.  Could be the shaft, I don’t know, but I always felt like the carbon face had a dead thud to it like a dead blow hammer.

Joey encouraged me to try and turn a bit more more which helped with speed. Still shocked by these results. My overall assessment is these results were a combination of a excellent fitter that not only helped with equipment but also helped me to hone in on areas I could tweak to optimize my results. Loved the feel of the head, the sound and obviously the yardage gains. Ordered the club and hope to have it delivered in August.

Joey is amazing, he changed my entire wedge setup last year and cant wait to get there to try out the drivers.

Had a driver head to head today:

-GT2 9° A1, Ventus Blue Velocore+ 5x, 45”

vs

-GT3 10° A1, Ventus TR Black 5S, 45”

 

-GT3 flies a good 10+ft higher with a better landing angle.

-Ventus TR Black is more “stable” and predictable 

-In my opinion the higher flight is better where I play as the rollout will be more realistic (and I can flight it down if I need to by lowering the tee height and hitting more level)

 

Here are 2 good strikes:

GT2 combo (blue tracer)

GT3 combo (green tracer)

I recently got the the GT3 and its definitely lower spin than the TSR3, i alos find it to be a bit more anti-left.  I dont notice any extra forgiveness or sound change.   The biggest difference by far was noticed when i changed the shaft from a TPT to a Diamana WB63X and a VF6x ( totally different shafts ).  I find the WB63X to have a smooth feel like the Ventus Blue and the VF6X is harsher like a Ventus Black.
