Issue with a purchase from the Golfwrx classifieds

This past weekend I saw  a LH Scotty Cameron Phantom x5.5 from a post that @Jsarmenta4 had. I messaged him and we agreed upon a deal. i sent payment Sunday night and while dealing with the payment, he was very quick to respond. Once payment was sent, he has stopped all communication even though he has visited the site. I am not sure how long I should be waiting to do this but I would rather do it now, then wait for someone else. I have screenshots if needed.

Yikes, I went and looked at feedback and other things. Hopefully I will get my money back then.

If the seller is not responding, file your PP claim and let them know. Get the process moving if you're not happy. Dont wait.

Man, sending money a Sunday night. I worked too late to go to the USPS store and just sent it out and see this. Less than 48 hours to then pull something out that was taken care of over 2 years old. Tf?

What's the cause for having such a quick trigger @smdunlop?

 

One day without communication is nowhere near enough to start a thread like this or file a PP claim.

It's been less than 48 hours man, obviously the seller has already chimed in, I'd lock this thread before it gets ugly.

Just wondering but if he sent you PMs and you were on the site why couldn’t you just answer with your response in here and let him know that?

While I understand the sentiment that I may have done this quickly, he also asked me to send as F&F, which I did and shouldn't have done. the longer I wait the less likely I would be able to do anything about it. This was my first experience having to do anything like this and normally on here, people are pretty helpful and constructive, not keyboard warriors acting like they've never been worried or jumped the gun like this. His history showed I should have been worried. After I posted this, he was extremely quick to get upset but somehow didn't have the time to just say anything. @GwrxMod, please lock/delete, whatever is best.

Bro check the feedback from the other guys I sold stuff to out of that thread. Look you messed up it’s all good, it was sent out today at lunch time. I replied to you before I replied to the thread. Unfortunate to leave a negative feedback on something sent out less than 48 hours after you sent the money. It’s all good. I hope the putter works for you.

What was stupid was spiraling after 36 hours of no communication. People have lives outside of this forum, so if you're going to participate in the BST, you need to trust the process more than you clearly do now.

 

Time wasn't of the essence because there's nothing PP can do about a F&F transaction, whether it was sent 30 seconds or 30 days ago.

 

Hopefully @GwrxMod makes it right and removes the negative feedback you sent for each other, and you can use this as a lesson learned on how not to conduct yourself on the BST moving forward.

I’m not sure why people aren’t banned or at least given a timeout for requesting F&F payment. I know the rule uses the word “advertising” but if it’s done via PM it’s no better.

I'm so hesitant to buy from BST these days because of this crap.  I'm better off buying used clubs from Facebook or Craigslist.
