No, no “hot” shots.  To me the 242 provides more feedback than the 222’s, but that might also be the result of slightly different shafts 120 vs 105 Nippons.

So what is the final thought on these?  Look fantastic to me and not that need any new irons, tough not pulling the trigger.

These look awesome! im currently gaming the J15 CBs which I love, but will probably be looking for some new irons later this year. do you think the 241CBs or 241CB+s are more comparable? I dont mind a slightly longer blade length but also dislike a lot of offset.

I only have experience with the Bridgestone 40cb's. Offset on the 241's looks to be similar, blade length slightly shorter, top line is a little thicker, different sole grind. The 241's feel just as soft and the shaping of the club face is as nice as any club I have seen since the 40's. I have, MP 33's, Epon, 302, Miura Tc 101, Taylormade Forged TP 9 from Japan and Callaway Apex cb.  I think the 241's are going to be my favorites.b The wedges have a great shape too and are just as soft.

Would love to see pictures side by side with other irons ! I am considering these but I fear the sole of the clubs are too big for my liking. How are they compared to T100 and P7CBs?

I am traveling to Japan next week and trying to see if I should buy a set while I am there. I am currently playing P7CB. I am curious to know if these are smaller or bigger. From your pictures these things look massive.

I was in Japan two weeks ago and had a chance to compare the 241CBs, ZX7s, and P7CBs. They’re all very comparable in size at address. The 241CB pitching wedge has a slightly bigger sole, but it’s hard to tell the difference unless you're looking closely.

I managed to pick up a used set while I was in Korea. Just finished reshafting them. I am interested to see if these would be able to replace my p7cbs from my bag.

I've got a few rounds in with the 242CB+ and these irons are the real deal. They feel great, are extremely accurate, and are very forgiving. I'm probably half a club longer with them vs. my previous T100S irons with much better feel.  And they seem to want to go straight, which is fine with me. It was a minor risk buying them from Japan without hitting them first, but I had two sets of J15CBs previously and am comfortable with Bridgestone CBs.  Glad I got them before the import costs skyrocketed. I highly recommend them if anyone is thinking aobut getting them.

Which shaft in your set?  Nippon modus 105 or 950 Neo ? And ballflight vs J15 ?

They were delivered with the 950 Neo, but I immediately swapped them for Recoil 110 F4. 

 

I haven't had the J15CB's in a while, but the ball flight with the 242CB+ might be a bit higher with the same shafts. These irons have some pop to them with the hidden pocket cavities, but they feel great. It's been breezy here this spring and I've had some into the wind shots carry longer than expected given the conditions.

Now I really wish Bridgestone made the 4-iron in LH for the 242CB+.  Irons have been the weakest part of my game the past few years, and something I've been working on diligently this spring. I had a really good ball striking round today and did something I've never done before - hit ten greeens in a row in regulation. I used every iron in the bag to do it, including 5-iron twice. This may be the easiest-to-hit 5i I've ever used. They're so forgiving - I had a couple of shots that felt just a tiny bit heavy, and both ended up bang on for distance.

 

These irons are great, and totally under the radar outside of Japan.

Has anyone tried the B'Stone 258CBP yet? I know they're not the most popular option in the lineup, but I used to have the Tour B X-CBP irons and thought they were great for a mid-cap.  Strongly considering getting them, but recovering from a shoulder surgery.  Hoping someone can help with some first hand experience before I pull the trigger.
