Got this about three weeks ago.  Very easy to use.  Magnet to attach to the cart, but the GPS actually works off your phone.  So you can look at the device or your phone.

 

The GPS seems very accurate across four different courses.  Used it for hazard distances, front of green, back of green, middle of green, bunker locations and landing areas.

 

Very easy to track and log shots.  I have only tracked my driver, but you can track all of your clubs.  The speaker gets very loud.  Pretty great bass given it is portable.  A charge will last two rounds playing music at a reasonable (loud enough for your foursome) but not too loud.

 

If you wander too far from the speaker with your phone - about 40 yards, then you lose connection with the speaker and the sound stops.

 

Here is the info it has gathered after two rounds tracking driver distance and fairways hit, approach result and putts.

 

Obviously, my issue is short game.  Too many putts and not good enough at chipping to make the most of my rounds.  Gonna start tracking Irons distance now too.

 

P.S.  Playing at altitude, so I expect my driver distance is closer to 255-260.

 

ALSO IMPORTANT:  When I downloaded the app, it did not have the current version of my course.  Sent them an email.  Within 20 days, they had updated the course with a renovation that was completed 18 months ago.  So they were very responsive.

 

Overall I would rate it a buy if you want a gps with a speaker.  Seems pretty seamless to operate. Paid $199 on Amazon.  I have a range finder, but wanted a speaker and something helpful on unfamiliar courses.

Great GPS and speaker.  Looks much better than the competition too.   App can be a bit quirky at times but overall it's a great device
