She needs to go to a meditation retreat. She is too jittery and the opposite of the successful, calm and in control top ranked golfers. I feel stressed watching her. I was not surprised that she didn't play well at the end.

Rewatching and just have to comment on Shin's pace of play. Absolutely GLACIAL. (I'm firmly in the camp that thinks hitting a shot within the allotted amount of time is a part of golf and a skill). Hope I never ever have to see her play again. Pair her with Ciganda and a tournament would never finish.

All honesty the overall pace of play was horrendous, my wife who doesn't like golf opinion was that the men are so much quicker to hit shots and she would rather watch them.

 

Fosterling on 16 second shot didn't select her club until Linn Grant was almost on the green. You could see Linn Grant was so frustrated with the pace of play. The group of Ann Van Dam and Marta Martin you could see they were just so frustrated with the pace of play as they were normal paced to me.

 

As a generalisation - Asian nationals - SOOOOOO Slow, US fast to green then SOOOOO Slow. Euros far faster tee to green. Lydia Ko, Korda seemed to be perfect paced also and they played well.

Jenny Shin's slow pace-of-play was discussed on "The Chipping Forecast" podcast with Eddie Pepperell, Iain Carter and Andrew Cotter. (circa timestamp 26m15s) ... but they also remarked that "the final group was almost a hole behind!!" (Jiyai Shin and Lilia Vu)

The whole waiting to start the pre-shot routine until after the playing partner hits has got to go. 

 

Watch Keagan Bradley analyzing a putt this past weekend with aimpoint. Spent nearly two minutes to hit the putt. After he missed, Adam Scott started his whole aimpoint routine. They couldn't have been doing it at the same time???

What makes it worse with Adam Scott is that any aimpoint or other routine wouldn't help him putt better, he should just miss everything quick.
