...for the above reason alone ... presumably @Rapidcat also wants Lilia Vu to win (i.e.  😺)... albeit our feline friend is relatively quiet on the Forum today, maybe because he is multi-tasking (with one eye on the Wolves-vs-Chelsea EPL game).

She needs to move out of her parent's home but it is expensive in the OC.

How prevalent is it for non-native English speakers to talk to their golf balls in...English? Noticed Saigo yelling "Sit, sit, sit..." to her ball on a shot. Have heard it from others as well.

For Japanese folks ... a lot of the golfing terms seem to be derived from English? @No_Catchy_Nickname may have more insights?

Jiyai Shin’s putting setup is painful to watch. It looks like her toes are a ball’s length from the ball, and her heel is way up in the air, even more so than Steve Stricker.

Contrast Nelly's putting over the last 3 holes to her playing partner Jenny's...Nelly makes all hers, Jenny misses all hers.

 

That's one reason why some win a lot and some don't.
