^  I am just amazed at the number of similar Picks so far this week. There hasn't been a start to a Pick's week like this yet.

Me the basement guy is thinking of taking the other side in the 3 most selected games this week. 😄  What the heck, it's not like any other angle that I have taken has worked so far this season. UGH.

... That dude is The Guy. Pete Stacker is doing the narration. He started out as a Production Mgr at a Radio Station in Chicago and made his way to Voice Overs and is one of the best in the Biz. 

... I ventured into that world and Pete cured me of making it my focus. Already the top talent in Chicago I did an audition with him when they needed two announcers in the booth. The amount of self promotion, schmoozing and doing anything you can to get and keep a leg up was daunting and I learned a valuable lesson in that audition. Pete handed the Ad Agency rep a bag of Malted Milk Chocolate Balls. "I was in Portland doing a job and on my return flight I booked a layover in Seattle so I could go to your favorite little shop and pick these up for you". The rep says "You made a special trip to Seattle just to get these or did you have other business there?" Pete smiles and says "I had nothing to do there but pick up this little present for you my man". 

... I did not have that kind of self promotion drive or the desire to do it and figured if the best in the business has to go to those lengths what chance does someone trying to break into the upper tier have on talent alone? Answer? None at all.

I would stay away from that Buffalo pick.  I liked it before Jets fired their coach.  It's a must win for Jets.  First place on the line, and a loss will cause a ton more finger pointing / dissension.

... And ain't that the problem with most teams in week 6? I normally have a good feeling about 5 or 6 games and then just narrow them down to 3. This week I feel good about the Bears and Tampa but the rest have equal reasons to pick for or against them. 🤪  I find myself picking against teams more than for teams this season. So many back up QB's I just don't trust.

Ha Ha..Thats exactly what we want to see. I think Robert Saleh would do some finger pointing, particularly the middle finger pointing 😀Hey Jets front office..... Its not the coach......

Week 6   Predictions from the basement dweller.

 

The Raiders benched their starting QB Minshew. It's now Aidan O'Connell's turn at the offensive controls for a struggling offense that is tied for first in turnovers (9) and 22nd in the League in scoring. The Raiders defensive front line is without C. Wilkins as he was placed in injured reserve with a bad foot. With a new QB and the loss of a starting D Line stud the Raiders will fold at home. I like the Steelers to cover the 3 fairly easily.

How can anyone take the Patriots to cover 7 points at home after they lost by 5 points at home last week to the horrible Miami Dolphins? I don't care if it is Drake May or Senior Professional golfer Bob May at quarterback. I will take the juicy points with the Texans. 

PICK- Houston

 

 

Screw Seattle, they cost me my second Power Play last week with their weak performance (Loss) at home against the New York Mediocre at Best Giants. The 49'rs need a bounce back game bad. It will happen this week up in Coffee Land as the Seahawks will give up a lot of points to one of their division rivals.

Ha!  I wish!  I've been "roughing it" in motels!  But next two nights in Sedona ar a nice house.  Making a pit stop in Flagstaff.

 

Captured the old horseshoe earlier...weird how it looks just like me!?!?

 

 

This is one of the longest trips I've ever been on without touching a club.  I'm going to a mess at tourney next week.

I hear ya about playing golf rusty. After two weeks without touching a club I sure struggled out of the gate yesterday. Thankfully I found some game on the back 9.

Your more in detail breakdown is quite helpful. Thanks NSX. Yes he did have one previous photo reg flag. Oddly he also only posted in the 19th Hole and never earned full WRX validation. I think he was an account set up by another member to try to ruffle me a touch. I didn't work if that was the case. Oh well, at least now the Contest's podium microphone volume level can be once again set back to 5. 😁
