Well not all is well New Orleans gagged coming down the home stretch after covering fo most of the game 

But yes not only did my previous over-pick hit, the Commanders which I wanted as well as a PP but just could not put that pressure on them. LOL won and covered.

And yes Miami covering in Buffalo, Tua playing well was very gratifying as my Contrarian Power Play

@Triple Lindy and I have had a chat today. With TL going on a 2 week vacation starting Monday and will be gone for Weeks 10 and 11 this is what I came up with to do in his absence.

 

The three players who are in the top 3 spots in the new Standings when they come out Tuesday afternoon will be in the mix. You three each get one extra Pick and that Pick is for Triple Lindy.  In the event of a tie I will go with the player who had a higher point total the week prior. 

 

So for an example say I am 1st place NCL, and I am in the Top 3 spots in the Standings, my post would look like this.

Yes indeed Q. A top 3 doesn't have to make a Pick for Triple Lindy that is different from their 3 standard Picks.  Great Question, and seeing that you are near the top of the Standings I see why you asked it . 🙂

... Not sure I have ever seen team progress so well and regress so fast. The Oline looks completely lost. Just watched a sack where AZ rushed 3 and the Bears had two blocking one and three blocking another and nobody blocking the DE that had a free run at Williams.

... Soooooo many factors but coaching is certainly one of them. On paper, I don't see a better offensive combo than Swift, Odunze, Allen, Moore, Kmet and Williams. They should be an offensive scoring machine. But the Oline is abysmal and they aren't seemingly making any adjustments. The ball should be out of Williams hand in less than 2 seconds most of the time with slants, quick outs, screens and hitting Swift coming out of the backfield. But routes are long, slow to develop and the line isn't blocking anyone, let alone picking up complex blitzes and stunts. And maybe the biggest disappointment is the defense is slipping too, especially defending the run. Little gap responsibility which leaves holes and big runs. Looks like some want to make plays instead of doing their jobs. If everyone does their job somebody gets to make the play but if you don't do your job nobody gets to make the play. Both starting safeties out and the Oline is decimated by injuries so that doesn't help either.

... All that said they may lose games but they should at least be competitive.

The O and D lines are just so important to any teams success.  I see it constantly with the Giants, if Jones has time he can make plays, when the oline stinks he looks pathetic.  But I agree with the weapons the Bears have they should be better or more consistent.  II was curious if they would get blasted or be in the game after last week.  Seeing the result, I give 70% of the blame to coaching.  It was evident last week, some of the talk this week coming out of Chicago, and bad defensive effort,  Eberflous being a defensive guy should have that group buttoned up and even more so with a rookie QB, although talented will still have growing pains.  But I have only watched 1 of there games.

... Right there with you! I think you can compete and win in the regular season with an average line. But you can only compete and win a SB with a very good line. You can't really even compete with a bad line on either side of the ball. The real killer is Ryan Poles the GM played Oline for the Bears on their Practice Squad. So he knows the importance of a good Oline and I imagine he is fuming.

I just can't catch a break trying to hit a Power Play. I am 0-3 on the year with PP's.

The Eagles were in control in the first half. The Jags came out of tunnel at halftime and outscored the home team in ugly green jerseys in the second half and got the cover. Once again this week I solidified my position as the absolute worst Picker of games in this contest.
