The other was the 1936 NFL championship game between the Green Bay Packers and former Boston Redskins, which was played at the Polo Grounds in New York because of low ticket sales at Fenway Park. A few days after the game, Boston's franchise was moved to Washington.

That's not true ... the Bears played the Portsmouth Spartans in the 1932 indoors at Chicago Stadium.

 

It was obviously in Chicago, but NOT Wrigley Field, the home of the Bears.

I am so happy I took the Over and did not jinx my home team the Commanders by picking them to win!  

SO what I lost the pick!  I will take a L all day any day! As long as they play spoiler to all those favorites in the playoffs

Jayden Daniels is making history and this time it's for the team I have rooted for my entire life while taking a Dan Snyder sabbatical. 20 years since they won their last playoff game! Dan Snyder can burn in LA! 

I will not jinx them again this week; I will take a total instead.  

This is for fun and I work on weekends so I have watched about 2.5 hours of football the entire year.

I watch the abbreviated recaps in the morning before I head off to work about 10 minutes long.

I guess when I retire I will start watching more football but until then it's slim pickings

... Doing his Justin Fields imitation. 😱 I clocked him at 6.2 seconds before he was hit on his last sack. The ball needs to be out of his hands in less than 1/2 that time. You can hold it longer than 2.8 seconds if you have protection, but as soon as you feel some pressure the ball needs to be checked down or thrown away.

Playoffs Week 1 Results

My first week of the Playoffs was not pretty. I'm at or near the bottom of the Standings because my Picks stink. 

 

Didn't you two damn teams get the memo that this is the Playoffs this week? Damn you Denver and Minnesota. I take the OVER in both your games and you both produce measly azz points? You roll into Buffalo and score first with a Broncos bomb long pass and then don't taste the endzone for the rest of the game?  Unbelievable. Thanks for the 7 points, oh and I had my DIP going too.

 

It was obvious after the first 5 minutes that the Minnesota Vikings were in big trouble against the came ready to play and win LA Rams. It was a shootout but not on the scoreboard. Nope the Minnesota offense took so many bullets they will be going back to the land of 10,000 lakes in body parts boxes. You too single digit points? Thanks for the big 9'r Vikings. 

 

See I saw two high scoring contests happening in these games. What I didn't see was only two of the four teams having success on offense.
