No kidding. To me, the most telling play was a WR screen set up for Jefferson. 3 WRs to the left with man coverage. The other 2 WRs ran their guys well off the line. Jefferson fakes a route, stops and comes back. No defender near him. Darnold looks at him but doesn’t throw. Ends up taking a sack after starting with a clean pocket. Complete deer in the headlights look to him. Unreal.

If I didn't change my Picks at all that could mean a reduction in the entertainment level of this NFL Picks Club and as host that is something I couldn't tolerate. 😄

Over the years that we have done this I have always been in the bottom tier in the standings. It's just my jam and I'm used to it.

Some fellas are pretty savvy at picking games, I am not one of them.

I've said it before and I I'll say it again, I know I have zero chance of winning the contest every year but that's ok because I'm here to hang out with the gang and enjoy the group's participation win, lose, or draw.

This Contest makes the NFL Season for me more interesting and more fun.

... I 2nd that. 🥰 I chose the Bears early in the season just to make the game more fun. I placed some $10 bets that won and lost and the ability to cover early this year in this contest just added another layer of fun and interest. The difference between coming in next to last and next to first is what folks like to call "statistically insignificant". There is a little trash talk that can come with First or Last but it is also minor compared to just talking about the season with others here and sharing our opinions.

... I will always make my picks considering QB before and above all else because again, it is just fun for me. I will always have a difficult time picking against Mahomes, Allen, Burrow and Herbert (bit me last game) and almost never pick a team with a QB I don't care for. Ravens come to mind as I am not a Lamar fan and that's said understanding just how amazing he has been. Just not a style of play I enjoy watching.
