Lions...this year's version of Cowboys choke.  How do you go into this game with a zero pass rush plan!!?!?

That noise you're hearing is my tearing up all my parlay tickets.  That puts a nice lid on my bad LV trip.  I didn't have a single winning session on ANYTHING - blackjack, video poker, etc.  

 

The funniest part of the entire trip is that my brother had asked me to play a particular slot machine and on the SECOND spin, I got the bonus game and ended up getting the major jackpot (a bit over $1000).  Unfortunately, the additional bonuses made it almost $1500 total which, of course, made it a taxable hand pay.  I say "unfortunately" because when the slot tech came by, I was so distracted by messaging my brother and sending him video that I forgot to ask her to take out the tax.  So, my brother gets the dough but I get to pay the tax next year!  LOL!  

 

The truly ironic part is that he had asked me to play the max credit per spin but, for whatever reason, I couldn't get the 2 highest credit levels to work and after pressing both about 10 times each, I tried the 2nd lowest (there were 5) and it worked for the 1st spin so I pressed the middle level for the 2nd spin and then I got the bonus game.  😆

I am so happy for DC MD and VA. The once fabulous Redskins of owner Jack Kent Cook's making disappeared soon after his selling the team to the worst owner in professional sports. The fans of the Redskins had to endure over 2 decades of crappy non competitive teams. After being a living in the DC area Skins fan and attending a few dozen games at the classic old RFK stadium (for 15 years) (and quite a few of them with @doctoro) I moved all the way to the West Coast. I still pulled for that burgundy and gold team from the NFC East for some time, but eventually I couldn't take the pain and gave up my support.

 

After Snyder sold the team in just a few years solid improvement started to happen. Drafting Jayden Daniels was like hitting the professional QB lottery. The young man is astonishingly talented and possesses incredible poise. 

 

The Commanders go down to Tampa and beat up Baker and the Bucs. Next they roll into the Motor City and man handle the #1 team in the NFC. Things are dandy once again for the Washington DC area NFL football fans and I couldn't be happier. 

 

If the Eagles advance today and the Commanders find away to beat Philly and get to the Superbowl it will be very sweet.

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you from the professional gambler not 1, not 2 , but 3 Pick Changes. 

 

1. He doesn't want Philadelphia anymore but instead LA.

2. He is moving off of the OVER in that game and will take the UNDER.

3. He still likes Baltimore tonight but is dropping his OVER and taking the UNDER. Hickory is also slapping a DIP on the Ravens. 

 

 

Man the commissioner is cleaning up with all the Changes this weekend. Instead of going to Buffalo Wild wings for a dozen mild I will be going to Ruth Chris' Steakhouse and getting filet sliders to enjoy while watching the games.
