... Today is a 3 technique clinic. As disruptive as an edge rusher can be, unless it is your blind side you usually "feel" them coming and can step up in the pocket. But when that rush comes up the middle, it is much more difficult to see and feel because the pocket is always closing with good blocking and when you do feel that 3 technique, it is usually too late. And of course you can't step up while keeping your eyes downfield so you have to escape back and out of the pocket and it is difficult to pick up WR's when you do, so more often than not the QB will keep running.

... The great ones like Aaron Donald and the two we will see today in Jalen Carter and Chris Jones change games. They almost always need to be doubled or at least keep a RB in to block when they get through. I really love watching great 3 techniques play.

I was only half watching, so I missed the detail. But saw Scary Terry strike for 6! It was too early in the game for that 2 pt attempt, IMO. They’ll be chasing that point the rest of the game (assuming Philly doesn’t run away with it.)
