At least I can watch these spoiled PGAT players actually have to earn their keep with quality shots; not just a putting contest.

.... Right there with you. One of the reasons I stopped watching the PGA other than Majors and a few others. I counted 14 straight putts at the last tournament I watched. Commercial - 14 putts - commercial. I was done. Give me the LPGA where they show a variety of golf shots and non spoiled (mostly) players that seem glad to be there and appreciate their fans.

... Watching the Senior Bowl it is pretty amazing how much better the Dlines are than the Olines. Just shows why it is so difficult to find OLineman past the first round and maybe the second that can step in and contribute right away, while DLineman can be drafted into the mid rounds and start or at least rotate in. The Bears desperately need Oline help in the first and second round with Free Agency another viable option. But the pickings are pretty slim. The moral of the story is other than a QB if you don't have one, if a sure fire Olineman is available in the first round you take him, regardless of your needs at other positions. They just don't come around that often.

... Well, well, well. I know everyone is starved for Bears news so here ya go. In a complete reversal for the Chicago media that has steadfastly said the Bears organization is dysfunctional from the top down and has always seen the glass as only half full with a crack in the glass and leaking out what little water is left ... have now refocused their doom and gloom into a positive negativity. Seems anything less than a play off appearance will be a failure. Yup, same team that went 5-12 but with different coaches will storm into the playoffs in the most competitive division in the NFL. This is assuming upgrades on the Oline in both free agency and the draft. Oh yea, they will pick up a game changing edge rusher as well. 🙄

... While I do agree with their assessment and with the talent on the roster and Ben Johnson over seeing Williams 2nd year, tailoring his offense around him, they should be much improved. But solid Pro Bowl OLineman are neither plentiful or a given even as 1st round draft picks. So there is a big IF surrounding the 2025 Bears but IF they can find some solid line help and a viable edge rusher, the Bears may finally find their way back to national relevance.

Remember, the Seahawks are looking for OL help, as well. Our current group simply cannot open up a hole big enough for our superb running backs to get beyond the line of scrimmage.

Nah, I see more of the game from TV than the rowdy, drunken Twelves in the stands. And I've been a fan since before their Super Bowl win.

You should experience it person at least once if you are a true fan. It’s not as bad as you’re making it out to be in regard to the rowdy & drunken. It’s all about the “experience” more so than “see more of the game”.

*btw. After attending many Raider’s games at The Coliseum in Oakland starting in the 80s. 
I assure you the current 12s are kittens in comparison 😆

... Heard that. This week is the Huge Very Drunk Frat Boy tournament in Phoenix. All kinds of promises about safety and cutting back on alcohol but ya can't put the genie back in the bottle. I wouldn't attend the Phoenix Open unless I was playing in the Pro Am.

... More than a few times. My ex was a Honey Bear and I had free seats. Went with my son in 2016 to watch Cutler. Four drunken Vikings morons in front of us wearing huge viking helmets with horns blocked our view from the end zone. Expensive tickets in the 10th row and I had not taken someone wearing big hats into the equation. While I think everyone should attend at least one game live, I do prefer my 83" TV at home for a myriad of reasons.

Tot agree. Now that I’m 52 I def prefer the home viewing experience. Turn down free 9ers tix on the regular.

I hear ya Sam. I still on occasion will go watch a Tour event LIVE but that zoo that takes place in Scottsdale would have me saying pass being that I'm an old guy now, though the female scenery I'm sure is off the charts. Remember I lived in Maricopa county for 3 years and know there are ampul lovelies around. 

 

Chef has worked the last 5 with JT and is heading there today. 

 

Question on your knee situation. Can you at least practice some putting this upcoming week or do you have to limit how much you are on your feet?

I have been hearing a lot of discussion by the media talking heads on how the defense's in this contest perhaps will be the bigger story.

... Scottsdale certainly has more than their share of attractive ladies. Thanks for askin' and I have been putting at home and could do that at the course if I wanted. I asked if I could start chipping and pitching next week and she said let's go one more week without stressing my knee. If I have improved enough at the end of next week she will clear me for chipping and pitching the next Monday. I also have the option of starting out on a par 3 course hen she gives me the OK. Aguila has an excellent little par 3 course so my first round will be there. You pay one fee and can play it as many times as you like. Working on wedges I have looped it 3 times but I'll be happy with just once after next week!!! 🥳

Senor Doesn't Care isn't the only other contest player that has the same Picks as you. I think you missed that 2 days ago I switched from the Over to the Under. I suspect though that having me on your side too doesn't give you anymore confidence.
