The fact that they had 4th 5 tells me that something isn’t clicking offensively during a 2 minute drill.  4th downs mean KC’s defense is balling or Buffalo is gagging

... KC is one of the most well run teams I have seen play in my lifetime and I love watching them play. Not a fan of KC per se but a fan of great football being played at the highest level. And as much as I don't like Philly because I lived there for 1.5 years, I appreciate what Fangio has done with the defense and of course doesn't everyone love watching Barkley run?

Stats prove out over the years the Chiefs are not getting the best calls by the ref vs other teams; they are upper middle of the pack.  But it's not about "over time"; it's about timing.

 

Giving the Chiefs a reception on a contested pass where the defense actually had more of the ball and at best should have been incomplete allowing the Chiefs to score a TD, then later denying Josh Allen and the Bills a 1st down when he was over the line on 4th down which again led to a Chiefs TD...these are two critical plays.  What more can the Bills do?  Sure they had a chance with 3 minutes to go, but arguably it should not have come to that.

 

The idea that 4K+ TV doesn't provide enough evidence to overturn a call is just plain ludicrous.  We don't need to.protect the reps of the on field officials; we need to protect the integrity of the game.

Best coach I ever played for had this to say and I am sure he was far from the first: "Coaches coach and players play" He went on to say he can put us in the best position to succeed but whether we do or not is up to us. Of course a coach can derail a team with bad decisions or poor clock management but the great ones would tell the players don't put us in that position. 

... But I think a synergism between a really good coach and a really good player can be pretty special. Mahomes would be All Pro playing for the Panthers or the Raiders. They may not get to the playoffs but Mahomes would elevate the play on either team. he and Andy reed are a match made in heaven. But conversely a coach can derail a player. No better example than Mike Martz and Jay Cutler. Martz wanted to run his Greatest Show On Turf that worked so well with Warner and Co for the Rams. Lots of deep routes and explosive plays downfield with some great WR's and an excellent Oline. The Bears had neither and Martz almost got Cutler killed. He later said Jay was the best QB he ever coached an he thought that would be enough to implement his offense but admitted he didn't have the Oline to give him time of deep throws and 7 step drops or the WR's to pull it off and actually apologized to Cutler a year later. A rare admission for a coach but it is a two way street.

Totally agree.  I hate the Eagles and when Reid coached them I hated the hefty bag wearing pig Reid.  But looking back, have to give credit where credit was due.  Four straight division titles when the NFC East was good, lots of playoff appearances.  But when the going got tough, McNabb was literally vomiting.  What can Reid do about that?!

 

And yes, O Line is everything.  You do not win playoffs and Super Bowl without it.  Full stop.

Nephew was a D1 RT and the entire O line were thick as thieves. Special breed of guys.

My Superbowl Prediction 

 

Somebody has to Go Green. No I am not talking about the Michigan State Spartans. 

With the opening Line being so small Vegas thinks this will be a competitive battle. 

My gut tells me the same. I am going to take Philadelphia and here are a few reasons why I am on the Eagles.

 

The Lions magic came to a screeching halt. The Commanders magic came to a screeching halt. The Bills magic came to a screeching halt. I say it's the Chiefs turn to find their bag of magic tricks empty, and that's my black magic/voodoo angle.

 

On the serious side I think Saquon is the difference maker. I also think the Eagles defense matches well with the highly physical and athletic KC offense. The Eagles front 7 will be ready. Then there is the power and strength of Philly's O Line. My only concern is QB Hurts's play. He played quite well yesterday but can he remain calm and not cough up any INT's or fumbles for another Playoff game with this one taking place on the biggest stage ? I'm taking a shot and saying yes.

Bills Mafia

 

I know we all woke up today wishing yesterday was a dream. But remember this, we weren't supposed to be HERE. Everyone said the Jets would be in our spot and we wouldn't even make the playoffs. They said we lost Diggs, our WR1 and we wouldn't get far without him. We lost Gabe Davis and they said we would have to rebuild the entire team with ZERO TALENT. They said our team was too little and filled with inexperienced rookies. They said our QB was overrated and couldn't get past the Ravens. Although we wanted this bad, there are 31 other teams who feel the same way. There can only be 1. We got to the championship, we will get to the Superbowl. And I know we have been BILLIEVING for a long time now, but DON'T STOP BILLIEVING!! Still my team, still my Bills! Until next season #GoBills
