It's that time of year again for in depth football analysis from P3P.

 

Pittsburgh               at             Atlanta -3                       42

Well, the most common search for PA is "fat posterior and/or your expected reference" and GA's #1 search is Tickling.  Now, in the realm of football not in porn, we have to give the edge to PA and therefore the Steelers.  Not sure what tickling porn is, but I hate being tickled so obviously the Steelers will cover.  PGH +3. 

 

Las Vegas              at              LA Chargers -3              41 1/2

Nevada oddly enough, in their porn searches looks for Vegas.  That's weird, why wouldn't you just go there?  It's not like they have a lot of traffic anywhere but Vegas.  Maybe swing into the Bunny Ranch and see if the search lives up to the hype.  CA searches for "swag," I can't for the life of me understand what that is, or how it relates to porn.  But Bobby Herbert, or is his first name something else, has "swag"  Chargers -3 is the pick.

All kidding aside @nsxguy I'll give it my best shot to be compliant and do as you suggest if it makes it easier for you to keep tabs and I hope the rest of the group makes an effort to do so as well. Miami        Home field advantage should be enough to cover a FG and the hook in this                           matchup of 2 Florida teams. 

 

Carolina   4 points is too many for the shoddy Saints to give a division opponent.

NJ Big Fish #Week1Picks

 

Week 1 is always weird now that most of the players don't play in the preseason, guys coming off injuries, holdouts or holdins.  I am not confident with this slate of games. 

 

I would love to take Cincy this week, but Joey B coming off injury and JaMarr (hold in) makes me think 8 1/2 is way to much, even if the Pats are supposed to be putrid.  So onto my next choice for a team that should stink.

 

Pick 1:  Chargers -3.  I don't know who Justin Herbert will be throwing to, but against the Raiders I don't think it matters.  Harbaugh gets first W in his NFL return.

 

Pick 2:  Denver +6.  I like Bo Nix and think he may not be Caleb or Jayden, but I think he will be a really solid QB for the next 12 years.  On the road at a tough environment will be a challenge.  He isn't even close yet, but I do see a bit of Drew Brees, and Payton made that work pretty well in NOLO.

 

Pick 3:  Dolphins -3 1/2 PP I personally think Trevor is overrated.  His stats line up with HOF Daniel Jones! I think the South Florida track team just runs past the Kitty's from the north.

That is a HOT take...I am going in a bit more optimistic.  It's been a long time since JJ fired a coach midseason - Phillips.  If somehow they can run the ball, they will be fine and make the playoffs.

There entire running back room was picked off the scrap heap.  Dalvin Cook & Zeke, give me a break.  They better hope CeeDee stays healthy or they may not score much.  Somehow they will back into the playoffs, then another early exit and McCarthy's contract won't be renewed.  Jerry will then have a plate of nachos with his new coach that doesn't have any stones.

It's not a HUGE deal but the issues with putting together the lines is, people can EDIT their Picks post and, if I've already "pulled" their picks, I wouldn't know they changed one (or more).

 

Or, if they add a post saying "Delete Packers, and add PHIL OVER", I may not stumble over it. And even if nobody changed anything I still have to go over ALL the posts to make sure.

 

You and touch (and NCL ?) did all this stuff last year. Can you give me some guidance on an easy way to keep it straight ?

 

If posters can remember to put the #, it would be a big help - although I will still have to look through all the posts,,,,,,,,,,,,

 

It's the possibility of changing things up right up to kickoff that's the biggest problem, and what could easily cause mistakes.

 

Anywho, if people can remember, that'd be great. If not, I'll deal with it.

My duty last season was to monitor the PP usage.  I considered myself the

"Power Play Specialist".

If called on I will serve again but I am perfectly okay if someone else volunteers.
