I think what's happened recently was the reveal that Eberflus not only has a contract for 2025, but also 2026!  Apparently he got a 5 year deal!  But it's irrelevant.  Pretty much every NFL coach fired was under contract.  Unless of course you coach the Cowboys, then JJ will keep your butt kissing around a long time!!!

Jerry keeping coaches around until contract is up, is such a cheap move for a guy who’s franchise is worth $10B.

I have never been one to blame the coaches above all else and always felt it best to wait til the end of the season before making changes but they need to clean house at least for the OC and HC and the sooner the better. They have both already lost the players with bad body language and facial expressions from their stars. I'd like to think those veterans would be professionals but they have been for far too long in the face of maddening incompetence:

John Robinson, successful football coach at USC and with the LA Rams, has died at 89

Robinson is high on the short list of football coaches who enjoyed significant success in both the college and pro ranks. He went 104-35-4 at USC and 75-68 with the Rams, winning postseason games and contending for championships regularly with both teams.

Robinson was particularly successful in bowl games, going 8-1 in the postseason with USC and UNLV.Robinson moved to the Rams in 1983 and reached the playoffs in six of his first seven seasons, winning four playoff games and advancing to two NFC championship games.

... I hear ya. I was OK with keeping Eberflus another year and hiring a new OC if just for the continuity on defense. I of course was dead wrong and after watching Hard Knocks I wondered why Poles kept him. Affer watching Dan Campbell inspire his team with passion and leadership, Eberflus showed none of those traits and seemed more like the team accountant than the HC.

... Evidently Poles read your post. 🤪 Good OC's make changes from week to week depending on the defense they are facing. Great OC's make halftime adjustments depending on what they faced in the 1st half. Waldron never seemed to make any changes and with an injured and porous Oline, starting players from the practice squad someone like Andy Reed would be running a completely different offense. I didn't see noting different from Waldron since the very first game.

No way 😂. Caleb’s shown some good play in spurts but the play calling has been horrible. It’s like watching a 6 year old play madden
