I know how good Steel Fiber shafts are. I tried a set of irons with them in it in Senior Flex. They felt great but I couldn't load them very easily with my wimpy swing speed. I would say that line of shafts play one flex more stiff than the flex stated on the shaft. For me Recoils work the best.

 

I am looking forward to hearing how your new irons perform Super Dave. They are outstanding looking clubs.

... I have been playing Steelfiber for years. Accuracy on the LPGA Tour is what wins tournaments and virtually every top player uses Steelfiber and that got my attention long ago. I think one of those records that will never be broken is JY Ko hitting 63 consecutive greens. The next closest to her is Tiger with 29. 

... And as you said Touch, Steelfibers play 1/2 flex stronger for hitters and about a full flex stronger for smooth swingers. I tried i95's in stiff and hated them. Rep at the Show had me hit some irons with regular flex Steelfibers and I loved them. I played the i95's for awhile and decided to give the i80's a try because they are actually 85gms. Very similar in every way to the i95's which I still have in my wedges. Recoils are more dampened and smoother so great shaft for slower swing speed players with a smooth swing.

I hear ya...it's the kind of game I cannot bet.  Brain says Eagles cover.  One of those situations where the NFC East rivals hold home court so Wash wins later this season.  But emotionally, I want Redskins to win.

Ok I found a few other stats that have convinced me to make a Pick.

Since their Week 5 bye, the Eagles have flipped the switch on defense, allowing just four TD's in their last 5 games. They now rank seventh in defensive DVOA, while the Commanders rank 25th. The Eagles also have the power of Vic Fangio on its side. His defenses are 6-2 against rookie QB 1's in the past 5 seasons, holding the opposition to 17.1 points per game and a TD-to- INT ratio of 9:11 in those eight games.

Speaking of Green NFL Teams. How about the Jets hosting Indy game. Both those teams a slip sliding away. Richardson is starting again for the Colts. That could help and that could hurt. Who knows how the mental state of that QB really is? And the Jets, well they have been getting nothing but negative headlines for weeks. I say TD's will be rare at MetLife this Sunday.

SF with another week of practice with CMC could be bad news for Seattle, playing at home they are overdue for a big win.

I loved that night games started just after 5 pm when I lived out west. Now the 10 AM first games on Sundays were a little tough to handle. Well they were if you were one to be out late partying on Saturday nights.  😉
