Anyone had a chance to hit these side by side? Feel is subjective so more curious about numbers/performance.

I own T150 and messed around with the new 770s at work. For me T150 was better in almost every single way. Not saying the 770s aren’t good though because they were definitely very solid. However the 150 look way better down by the ball, I can work them both ways a little easier, they are definitely a little longer (I have mine weakened 1 degree so I think the lofts are the same. The only thing I’ll say is the 770 may be a hair more forgiving if that’s important to you. I’ve never really loved anything titleist but these t150s are so good. Turf interaction is money with both irons. Don’t think you can go wrong either way

I had a fitting yesterday and tested T150 and 770, I'm coming from Mizuno pro 225s and was looking for better launch/height/spin as the 225s were not giving me enough height or stopping power around the greens. I swing around 82~ mph with my 7 irons and got better numbers with both 770 and T150 compared to my 225s but T150 was the best fit for me. Both 770 and T150 gave me 90 ~ 100ft of height and 6000 spin but T150 just fit me better. I found a more centered strike with T150 compared to the 770 which ended up giving the T150 slightly better numbers in all aspects of ball speed, carry, height, spin, and descent angle. If I hadn't tested the T150 I would have happily taken the new 770 as an upgrade to my 225s but can't argue against better numbers with the T150.

P770 long irons are where that set shines. None easier to hit that I have sampled in their category.

But I would say the T150 matches up more with the new P7CB and I’d go with the P7CB out of those two or maybe a combo with the 770. The P7CB probably does not have quite the same amount of tech as the T150 but it has enough that I notice it working well for me. P7CB long irons have tungsten co-forged and every head has MMC co-forged in a 1025 carbon steel head. They did that to optimize CG and MOI on these heads and it has produced a very nice iron with surprising forgiveness. Feels great, similar to the old P750s.

I've hit both side by side alot on GC4 as I work in a golf shop.  The t150 is too low spinning for me.  The p770 is more consistent on spin, which means more consistent yardages.  This is also proven by cool clubs testing.  I want consistent spin in the proper range to be playable.

After 3 rounds with the 770’s, they are staying in the bag.  I would put them about 10% more forgiving and good spin retention overall.  They are a bit clicky versus t150’s, but an improvement over the previous model. I feel like I have better landing angles with them as well.

Did a fitting last Saturday, p770, t150 and p7cb in the mix. The p7cg win on feel by a significant margin, dispersion was also best, however i was giving up a good bit of ball speed. t150 felt better as the p770 for me and performance was near identical. Loved the sound / feel of the t150 better and ultimately that might play into performance as well as it is such a joy to hit them. Went with the t150 over the p7cb because of slightly larger profile / more help and more ball speed. All well in a fitting bay, but it is a different ball game vs out on the course with all the mental stresses and fatigue that come into play.

so pretty much same, just preference?

I don't think people are going to find major differences in performance or size/forgiveness between the 2 sets. They are pretty similar

I had gen 1 p770 and gen 3 p770. Now play T150's. There is NO comparsion. The T150 feel 10× better IMO and are just as long if not longer. They also launch much higher.  I still have my OG P760's and they have the height of the T150's but fall about 5 yards shorter and feel a touch firmer than the T150's.

In my fitting, numbers were darn close. Nothing to really split them. Feel wise the t150 won by a slight margin.

interested in 4i vs 4i, if anyone has insights

Honestly performance is gonna be pretty similar. My launch, spin and carry is pretty close.

Size wise they are almost identical though T150 has slightly smaller top line

770 probably feels a tiny bit better but not a big difference.

Huge appreciation for this, thank you!

Do you feel thin strikes are more supported on P770? I’d guess the whole category should perform similarly out of the middle.

Not really, In fact i find there is greater peak height variance with the 770. If i hit them very pure they go pretty high, but thin strikes while they may travel OK, are not going to launch better than the T150 at least in my experience

I would say my peak height is a bit higher with 770 on well struck balls. But on thin strikes they don't perform better, i might even say they are a little worse.

T150 had better thin strike misses for me, probably bc of all the tungsten/mass throughout the set low in the clubhead on the T150s. I got fit at TXG/Club Champion, compared these 2 vs. ZX7, i230, Cally Apex Pro. Thin is my miss, so in terms of maximizing consistency and forgiveness, T150 is the choice for me. Pured shots across these models were similar in distance, when you factor in lofts.

Can't go wrong with either IMO.

Yeah i mentioned but this is really how i felt also with the longer clubs especially. I think a pured 770 is a better flight TBH but the T150 is a bit easier to hit all over the face

My t150’s if you hit it slightly high on the face it just went no where.  Don’t think I’ve had a set of irons that were worse on a high strike.
