Lifelong Saints fan here. Being a fan post Brees has been tough. The beat down they put on Carolina Sunday was nice, but show me that game against Dallas this weekend. We have the pieces in place, just need to see some spark

I don’t know anything about the Saints this year, but Carr always seems to have good games against Dallas. A win wouldn’t shock me. Even after Dallas easily handled Cleveland, I still think they’re a mirage and will miss the playoffs.

I have lost a ton of respect for the team since JJ bought the team.  I think it is clear, Jimmy was the driving force of those teams and JJ just couldn't be second fiddle when it came to the accolades.

 

Then factor in his eyebrows, if they were all straight facelifts, should be on the back of his head and while I don't always have an issue with cosmetic surgery but when it feels like it is all vanity I struggle with it.

doesn't include the winner/loser of tonight, but doubt there's any significant movement ... 

 

the Steelers are too high ... not sure why they're the 7th best team, even though they're my team ... 

 

interesting to see what the bears do ... they have a somewhat soft schedule with wash, the pats and cards after next week's bye, but finish up with a brutal schedule that includes two games each against the pack, the lions and the vikings, with a trip to san fran in there ...

Born in KC.  College at Mizzou.  Been Royals, Chiefs and Mizzou fan for life.  Moved to Colorado about 2010 and added Rockies (decided that I can have a NL team), Avalanche and Nuggets.

 

I know that people hate Chiefs now, but I sat through the 2 win seasons, paper bags over our heads, jokes of coaches, taking cast off QBs from other teams, murders on the property, players who smuggled weed, etc.  Everybody's time will come save for maybe the Jets.  Although times are good now, I know that the bad times are coming again sooner than I want.

 

My unpopular NFL opinion: with one more SB win, Andy Reid is the best coach of all time... Bill's bad seasons were not as good as Andy's who made playoffs with lots of different non-HOF QBs, many NFC champ games and a SuperBowl with a guy that nobody thinks is close to elite.  Bill is nothing without Tom and Andy was a HOF coach already without Mahomes.  My other unpopular opinion is that blaming refs or "the script" is for losers - listened to my friends do it when we were good enough to play with the Pats for a while but not good enough to beat them when it mattered... they were just better.

 

If you have not heard Jerry Jones going bat*** crazy on radio this AM, go and find it.  It is equal parts funny and sad.

If am with casual/superficial fans, then I would say Belichick since it is recent and the six rings and it is just easier.  However, the real answer is Joe Gibbs who has three rings with three different QBs and none of them are in the hall of fame - no, Joe Thiesmann is not a HOFer.  Told somebody that what Gibbs did was like winning three over the last handful of years with Cousins, Baker AND Andy Dalton and they just looked at me like I was stupid and said that it could not be done.

 

Always interested in the opinions of others.  Heard some good cases for Lombardi, Curly and others which I respect.

Gibbs makes sense. I’d still put Reid ahead of him even without another Super Bowl win.
