Depends on what they do in the playoffs. I think we give him a one year deal and figure it out in training camp if we make a deep playoff run (NFC championship). KOC is a really good coach honestly

Lamar is a regular season savant. Spagnola bottled him in the AFC championship game and showed he’s a avg qb if you take away the run

I am not one to call for coaches to be fired and most fans have NO IDEA how hard the job is, but this was near malpractice.  Most armchair guys could not even coach a 12 year old pee wee team and think that they know when to fire a coach, but they might be right on this one.

 

The honest truth is that coaches learn, evolve and get better too.  If dude afterward admitted that they panicked, blew it and need to get better, then you might be able to live with that because there are not coaches out there who have it all figured out and your next guy will not be a finished product either.  "I like what we did there" is just denial...  "I liked it at the time, but now it looks stupid" is at least mature.  This kind of stubborn stupidity will keep you from getting your second job, where most guys start to excel.

I was at the gym and the Raiders/Chiefs game was on. I was just kinda keepin an eye on it. When it came down to the final Raiders drive I stopped and watched. As they were getting into FG range I looked over at another guy and said “as a lifelong and now recovering Raiders fan, I know they will find a way to screw this up”.

Sure enough!

People blaming refs for NFL games might have worn thin.  Almost universal praise for the refs getting live ball illegal shift and the fumble right in the Raiders/Chiefs game.  No whistles blew, the flag was thrown and both line judges ran in once the ball was fumbled to try and assess who might recover it.  There are still a small amount of folks who don't know an false start from an illegal shift and that the signal is the same, that side/line judges were running in because of the fumble and not to stop the play, but even they seem to be OK once it was explained to them.  All of this was done right.

 

If this is the case, I am happy if people stop blaming refs.  The refs nearly never cost a team a game.  As for the script, if the NFL wanted a team to win a third title because they liked a players girlfriend, the script would have them winning every week 38-6 without injuries and not play close games.

It’s obvious he had a hand in getting Adams there from the Raiders. So he 💯 has pull. I just call BULL 💩 that he had zero to do with the coach n GM as he has said.

The scariest thing is it was any other team, this jet debacle would be 10x more outrageous

 

But it’s the jets so it’s practically obvious this would all happen 🤣

 

The biggest reason the Jets and Cowboys as well can’t get anywhere is the owners think they can be key decision makers and are involved way too much

You made me think.
When the Eddie DeBartolo ownership era came to an end with the 9ers his sister Denise took over. Denise’s son Jed took over shortly afterwards. He initially tried to be the face of the franchise and run things ala Jerry Jones. It was a total disaster. To his credit he stepped back and let John Lynch run things. The team got immensely better. 
Owners can learn a lot from that.
