Paradym 10.5 Driver Sound

I recently picked up a Paradym with a ventus red velocore shaft. The sound when I hit it sounds like an aluminum bat. It's high pitched and wondering if there is something wrong with the head. I can't see any cracks. It looked brand new when I got it. I never hit one before but have not heard anyone mention this sound. Most say it sounds muted and mine is definitely not. I have a cobra and titleist and they sound nothing like this one.

Most golfers out there tell me the Paradym sounds better than the Rogue ST before. The sound is a driver sound with a lot of carbon, not tingy more muted. But from the first hits I found my Paradym sounds weird also, I took some time to get used to, I found the Rogue ST sounds better. 
 

is it 2nd hand? You never know what the pre owner did to make the head playable, hotmelt on some wrong places can influence the sound. The chassis is made from pressed carbon, this body would sound weird if there is a hidden crack from the inside, delaminating of the material can happen, mostly this is invisible from the outside. The outside has this shiny clear coating color that helps the carbon mat stay in place. The inside does not look like this, the pure carbon fiber is not „protected“ by anything. But without open the chassis which means destroying the head, you will not know. A x-ray scan can maybe make tome cracks visible, but not all. 
 

I have not seen any fake Paradym heads, but just to make sure, why not writing the Callaway customer service?

Thanks for the reply. I know the person that I bought it from a d he upgraded the shaft but didn't do anything else to it. It makes me feel like I'm playing softball with an aluminum bat. The ball goes fine. Just wondering why more people aren't talking about the sound. My other drivers sound nothing like this.

Sound is a bit personal but I don't find the standard Paradym to be to high pitched. To my ears the TD sounded slightly different, both have a good thwack sound compared to the Rogue line, a tad lower pitched to my ears. I game a standard 9d. 

 

Clubs like the Stealth/QI  which I hear a lot from playing partners at my club have a distinctly duller sound, and Titleist are known to have their own sound with titanium for several generations now so perhaps its just a difference to you? Grab another demo club and compare at GG or similar if you are super concerned.

Maybe I am the only one with this „problem“ but how I „hear and feel“ the driver head at impact, and how it really sounds if I take a video analysis of my swing, are two completely different things. So maybe you let hit your new Paradym driver somebody else and stand next to it to hear if there is a difference. Or simply make an audio record.
