Haha. First time trying out a non-steel putter shaft. Honestly can’t tell the difference 😅

You should try the new ventus black velocore+, it will lower your spin so the putts will roll forever and reduce the snap hook putts. Amazing value 😂

 

 

i will stick with a $15 steel shaft in my putter untill i start seeing the need for 300yards putts.

You don’t feel there is shaft deflection at 1mph impact ?

 

however , this site is for equipment junkies …… “to ea their own “

 

of note , 2 guys won 16 & 18 majors most likely  with a $15 ysc true temper putter shaft 

 

lastly , I could see graphite buffering some vibrations

I didn’t mind the stock grip, but of course I changed it out for an iomic mid with + 4 wraps , that’s so good.  just curious to what others have tried - have iomic on my SC phantom 7

 

i have a SS PT 2.0 in the wings , need to get this out on the putting green

I wasn't a putter shaft believer either until I tried a TPT instead of steel in a DF3.  Light years difference

Finally got mine after super long shipping.  Feel is excellent.  Love the thuddy feeling.  Cameron usually nails this.  Balance is great.  Head is big but it just glides nicely.  Toe hang is perfect for a mallet.  Negatives: finish was sloppy.  Lots of silver parts where the finish rubbed off around the hosel.  Cherry bombs/cavity holes are visible from address.  Very distracting.  I'm so over those.  Neck looks slightly closed at address.  I'm sure it's not but all the recent Cameron necks look that way to me.  Overall though I took off the plastic and am going to keep it.  This is a very nice putter.

Has anyone weighed the 6.2 head?  I'm thinking it's 320-327 range without weights.

362gr on mine with the stock 15gr weights installed.

First roll , the stock grip I liked , keeping true to wrx fashion has to tinker , iomic mid with too many tape layers I think destroyed the shape , ss pt 2.0 too small didn’t like it 

 

put a lamkin cord pistol + 4 wraps  , great feel and allows for some head movement for longer putts. 
 

@ 35 might be a touch too long may cut it down and add 10g to the head weight

 

phantom 7 as a back up , would game but on slower greens longer putts I struggle with a bit of distance control

Let us know how it goes.  Can the stock shaft be ordered in black?  Does anyone know what it is?
