Is there a pro you do NOT like to watch on tv?

We probably all have golfers we tend to enjoy watching play. I have a few that I don't. First off for me is Vijay Singh. He doesn't pitch fits, as we say in the south, I just don't care for his body language as a pro golfer on tv. I can't wait until they show someone else, lol.

I don't like it when they show highlights of stars who are completely out of contention or are about to miss the cut.

First one that comes to mind is Patrick Cantlay. Just as vanilla as they come.

Have to agree with Patrick Cantlay, he's just completely annoying to watch in all aspects.  And those that labor with Aimpoint (re:  Keegan Bradley, etc.) are also pretty painful to watch.  Beyond that they're all robots so hard to choose who to like or dislike I guess.

Anyone who uses aimpoint and walks up to the hole trying to feel the slope.  They should prohibit that.

Actually, Jordan Spieth.  He looks particularly unhappy when he plays.

JB Holmes, of course, but that goes without saying.  Luckily he’s mostly out of the picture these days.

 

For me, these days it’s Mr. Waggles, Brian Harman.  Actually love his swing, I just can’t stand having to sit through 15 waggles to see it.

I don’t get bothered by things that don’t affect my daily life. I watched pro sport to see the great plays, amazing shots and the best do what they do.

Agree.  If someone in professional sports made me want to post a topic like this, I just wouldn't watch in the first place.

Funny thing is though guys are asked why viewing numbers are down this week….answer invariably is no names are playing.  So apparently the broadcasters feel even missing the cut folks want to know what their favorites are doing.

So just because one person out of 150 guys in the field bugs him, you think he should either don’t mention it or stop watching?

 

It’s a discussion forum.  People discuss things.  Both positive and negative.  And based on your logic, I’d ask - why did you even click on this thread?  Pot/kettle/black.

Yes.  Why bring the negativity with another one of these topics?  Same as the aim-point thread that has been posted about ad-nauseam in almost every tournament thread this year and last.  I would have a different opinion if it was a positive thread.

I really enjoy watching the best in the world play a game I play. There are some guys I like better than others, but I don’t dislike watching any of them.

He sort of got away with it as a kid. Now it hurts my soul having to watch it year after year. I could deal with the cat kneading and the slow play so long as he doesn't mess with anyone's pace of play, but the tongue...

Can’t think of any. You only have to watch each guy for 30 seconds or so.

 

some I enjoy watching more (Tiger, Rory, Rahm, DJ, etc)

 

e.g. I find Spieth annoying but I can tolerate him and find him interesting for 30 seconds. If I had to watch a whole round of just Spieth though, I’d need a 12 pack of ipas.
