For further clarification.  The “current” Hoofer was released in 2023.  It introduced the upgrades of the additional molded dividers in the base and the stacked pocket layout.  
 

The Hoofer Lite in its current form did not release in the US at the same time,  I believe in early 2024 was its release, but it may have been late fall/winter 2023.  It also shares the molded dividers in the base, updated valuables pocket location, and a bit more square of a top profile.  
 

I got my Hoofer in August 2023, and my Hoofer Lite in May of 2024.  Both are the black color and both are the same version as sold today.  The only changes have been updated color releases.

Yup. Definitely pockets are different. I prefer the newer valuables pocket.  It faces you as opposed to running away from you on the older model.

Valuable pocket.  I feel like the water bottle pocket is a little different but both of them are worthless to me anyway. I’m not Knear the bags to look at unfortunately.

Some time in 2023 the 'latest' Hoofer Lite came out (1st pic).  It has not changed other than colorways since then.  The 2nd pic is the previous version (~2020 to 2022), differences should be obvious.

Like I said, legs are different. lol. 
 

you can see in the picture where I circled. The new one has the value of his pocket facing you when the bag is in Stand mode.  The previous model has it facing towards the legs, which makes it a little more inconvenient to get to. You at least cannot see in it when we’re reaching for stuff.

I think we're reading the original question differently.  I think he was asking if there are any differences in the last couple of years, to which the answer is "no", just different colorways.  There are definitely differences in the 2 bags in the pic above that I posted as I did this to show that in 2023 PING changed to a completely new model.  The bottom bag in the pic is the older 2020-2022 model that is different (and better looking imo).

Well….come on Ping, partially there. The Mr Ping Moonlander is back on Ping.com….but it’s out of stock. 
 

I will wait for it to show up in our pro shop so I can get it with the logo.

Saw that.  Looks great compared to other colors.  Anybody know if they are going to release more Hoofer LIte colors or limited edition drops?  Least amount of general colors I've seen in years.

Went to check out all the bags at local GG and Ping Moonlander was the best looking shape and feel to me for a smaller light carry bag.  It felt much lighter than advertised.  BUT....unless I wanted a black bag (which I don't), I can't in good conscience choose any other color.  Pingman/White was OK, but just couldn't pull the trigger.  How about just a plain Green/White or Nice Navy, even a Biege/Brown.  It really is a cool shape and feel bag.  Looks like a nice carry bag with straps, no frills and low profile, but not gonna do it.  Oh well.

No. The Tour model is bigger, heavier, and has a slightly different pocket arrangement.

Any chance we get any limited edition colorways for the Hoofer Lite this year? I'd kill for an updated version of the blackout bag they dropped a few years ago. Current colorways are pretty underwhelming.

In case anyone is ever looking for a push cart: I can confirm that a Bag Boy Nitron is an excellent fit with the standard Hoofer. The legs fit perfectly into the top section and it’s very stable. This combo has been great for my last few rounds.

My 2025 Ping Hoofer Tour just arrived.

 

It's a Hoofer with better materials and a nicer colorway. I'd imagine the vinyl on the Hoofer Tour is more waterproof than the 300D poly on the regular Hoofer and maybe the vinyl is easier to clean? My 2021 Hoofer had some rips in the poly after light use so time will tell.  

 

If you can live with the regular Hoofer colorways, I'd probably just save the money and go with that. But I really wanted a white bag haha.

With a name like RCGA, I assume you are Canadian... Golftown has a few cool Hoofer Lite Canada limited edition options, including a white one.

Feel like their colors have consistently missed with me over the past two years.  The Canadian special editions are cool, but not Canadian.  Really need a new Hoofer Lite but keep waiting on some new colors to drop....  Hope they come out with some special edition soon.  If anybody has insider info, let us know.

They sell the Hoofer (not the Lite) with no logo in green, navy, and maybe black(?) To the public.  It's in their catalog, probably need to order thru a store that has a PING account.

These are the current Hoofer Lite, but the BYOB program, similar to the team bag program that many high school and colleges participate in. Same goes for many private golf courses.

I've noticed all the Hoofer current 2025 line on sale at retailers both in store and online.  Does this mean something new is coming?  Still not sold on any of the current colorways outside the "no ping logo" plain colors.

Certainly possible.  The current Hoofer came out summer of 2023 so a later 2025 release would match the cycle.

The newest colorways aren't nearing 1 year since release, so doubt anything is coming too soon

Honestly I think that is my one and only gripe about the HL. Otherwise it would be literally the perfect bag in my mind.

Still really having trouble understanding Pings 2025 color setup with the Hoofer.  Drives me nuts that the regular Hoofer is only offered from Ping currently in 6 colorways, with half of them being crazy looking pattern bags.  Hoofer Lite, which is my preferred bag since college is currently being offered in 13 colors, however 7 of them have the female branding of the "Ping" script with the rest of the normal options being ridiculous red, white, and blue camo and other crazy patterns.  The bag builder program also appears to not be taking any additional orders, which I've never seen before.

Does anybody know what is going on?  Just seems so different than how they normally operate.   I truly hope something new is coming down the pipeline.

Honestly I've been wanting to buy a new Ping bag for the past three years but each year I'm let down and disappointed in the colorways. There's only one colorway from the offerings this year I'd even remotely consider. Even then I've decided I'm not fully in love with it, it's just that I've only had terrible colorways to compare it to over the past three years so its the only one that looks remotely acceptable to me.

 

And the feminine script boggles my mind. The "Blue Coral" color combination is probably the best one in this year's lineup, but the inclusion of that script makes it a complete no-go for me. But they have no issue putting the standard Ping script on the bright purple bag. Make it make sense.

 

The only explanation I have is Ping doesn't like money so they make these color decisions that nobody has asked for. I'd look at other companies but Ping bags are the only ones I've ever used and their durability has always meant I get a solid 8 years out of a bag, and even then I only end up replacing them for sun fade.

I don’t get it either… They released a hoofer lite blackout bag a few years ago that I would sell my soul for at this point. 
 

The tour edition colorway was pretty cool but that’s not available anymore and it was replaced by the women’s ping logo.

I've had the Hoofer Lite white camo edition from about 4 years back and I've been holding off on anything new for the last 2-3 years.  Mine is falling apart now.  They released that blackout and I thought it was okay, better than the other colors but now after a year of looking at these it makes it look the best.  If they produced a new white or black camo along with some other core colors I feel like they would do pretty well.  I don't know if they can't keep up with the college/custom orders or something else is going on, but as a Hoofer user since high school and into college, it drives me nuts that I can't get a bag I like.
