What driver combo you ending the year with?

Black Ops 8° with HZRDUS Black is my main gamer but I still keep an OG Sim head around all the time. Always end up going back to the OG Sim (cracked my old one about a month ago which is why I bought the BO to hold me over until I found another Sim head).

What I got fitted for. Titleist GT4 10* with a Graphite Design Tour AD GC 6x and the heavy weight in the rear. A1 setting at the standard Titleist length. This thing rounds out the bag well and while the TD Max was solid, this is a notch above.

Going on two years now with the Srixon ZX LS 9* with a Tensei Blue x flex.  It just works for me and I’m ignoring the thought that it has near 300 rounds on it. I’ll play it to failure.

Second year in a row ending with Callaway Rogue ST Max with GD Tour AD IZ 6S at 45”. Based on this thread, more of these Rogues still in play than I expected. 
 

Starting to get the itch to try something else though after some lackluster driving rounds this fall. May try to hit the new stuff this spring.

The tsr2 with Hzrdus red I was fit for in May 2022. Can’t believe it’s been 18 months already although there’s some temptation to switch to the g430 I was also fit for that was slightly shorter but straighter.

I started with a Srixon z545 (oldy but goody) with a miyazaki kosama shaft. I wanted a change after coming back to the game this year (6 year break) and found a Cobra Aerojet for a very good price. It's been a game changer for me. Driving is no longer a weakness (practice may play some role in this too). I tested both the standard and LS versions and found only marginal differences to be honest. I ended up with the standard Aerojet, head at 9° with a hzrdus black g4, and I'll probably keep this one for a while.

The G400 lst 8.5* with velocore black just keeps on trucking. Found my unicorn simple as that, perfect spin, plenty of ball speed.

AI Smoke TD 8° at S/N, 2GF, 6GB and a few pieces of lead tape back and heel side to get the swingweight to D3, Xcaliber Avalon 6x, 45.25".

 

I was playing a TSI3 that I really liked, loved the feel for sure. However,  it did spin more than I wanted and I felt like I gave up some speed. I am up 3 to 4 mph on average and the ball flight with the TD is so stable unless I get stupid with trying too hard to draw it.

 

First Callaway club in the bag and have a feeling it will be there a while. I have a weight kit coming and still may play with weights and loft settings, but this thing is $$.

G430 10k 9° @ 10° (small +) with Ventus TR Blue 6x

 

Has given me enough confidence to grab a 10.5° LST head to see if it can go a little longer without dropping the forgiveness. 
 

As someone else mentioned earlier I can put an absolutely horrendous swing on the 10k and when I look up from hanging my head the ball is flying straight…

I honestly can't remember the last time I ended a year with the same driver. 10 years ago? Probably even longer. I blow through drivers. Not this year, though!! PING 10K with OG Ventus Blue 6S. I've never had a season that was even close to as good as I did this year. Dropped over 5 strokes off my GHIN, and it's almost exclusively attributed to driving the ball better. I was immeasurably better at distance and accuracy. I always struggled with keeping the ball in play. Always had a few holes a round that I would be taking penalty strokes because of errant tee shots. Not anymore!!! This setup is going nowhere!!

I'm closing out this year with the Callaway Rogue ST Max with the "ladies flex" Cypher Black shaft.  This has proven to be a great combination.

 

I'm curious about how the Ai Smoke Max driver would compare with my  Rogue, but I've hit the Rogue so well, that I'm almost afraid to mess with it and change.

 

So, anyone out there......Since I hit my Rogue ST Max so well, am I missing out on anything by not upgrading to the Ai Smoke Max?

Ping 10k 10.5 with the HZRDUS Hulk PVD shaft, this combo has been by far the best driver setup I have had in years. I cannot believe how well I am hitting the driver with the 10k, I cant see it leaving the bag anytime soon.

I have struggled with committing to a driver all season, but ended up with last years g430 LST W/ di -6S. Maybe 2025 will bring me to my holy grail, maybe a remake of the TM M2..I can only hope.

10.5 Smoke TD Max, Ventus Blue 6S @ D4.  For my swing it is proving longer and more forgiving than the Max and more consistent than the Max D.  Go figure.

I ended the yr with a Ai smoke  max d 9 degree with a senior Alta 55 CB red shaft...not sure about that shaft but I have three other Sr shafts to try n the spring

Ended the year with a Black Ops 8° with a HZRDUS Black Gen 4 shaft. Also have an OG 8° Sim head in the side pocket of my bag just in case. All fit adapter on the shaft so I can swap back and forth between the two heads.
