Seeing a lot of posts about the 7 and 16 models, which is awesome! At Studio B, one of our most popular models is the new QB8. Very compact and clean looking at address. Has anyone had the chance to roll this new modified shape?

definitely softer, I always thought the previous gens have felt a little firm too. I think the color change is a big improvement as well, looks warmer and more premium, probably one of the few putters that I don't pick up and immediately want to change the paint fill or the grip, everything about it was spot on.

The QB8 is the shape I’ve been after for years.  I absolutely love mine.  Now I just need winter to end so I can get it on an actual green.

I pulled the trigger last night, went back and got the 6 SBS , took a couple practice putts on the green at the store just to make sure it was as good as  I remember and it was. Only gripe is the headcover doesn't really fit well, very snug , but at least it's magnetic,  debating on using it or one of my own.

Not an easy thing to do, would need a company with in house machining and the skill.....to......uh.....whoops.

Thread bump. The Queen Bee 8 just won’t go away. Every time I am at a store rolling putters, it is a standout. I think the face being noticeably shorter than a lot of blades actually makes it easier to aim it and hit solid putts. It’s just very smooth. Really do not see another putter out there that looks like this with the compact blade length. Also love that the cavity is ball width.

 

I don’t know if this putter qualifies as a blade or a mid-mallet but it’s my favorite blade-esque putter out there this year.

Tried that one today. It’s very nice. I think I would go with the plumber’s neck version because it is kind of a near-center shaft, but if I bought a true center shafted putter, it would be the QB8. I liked it so much more than any of the zero torque models out there.

I like them and the new finish looks great in person. But I'm not sure how I feel about the "compact" size. I love my 2022 BB8W, which is a little smaller heel to toe compared to my Newport 2 +. But the new BB and Queen B series seem so small it looks somewhat toy like.
