Curious if anybody has tried this yet. Or can compare it to the old one... I had a Hulk at one point and wouldnt mind revisiting something similar.

i have one - gave me similar numbers to that of the WITB sig below (hulk smoke small batch) - only difference i saw was fractionally lower spin and slight uptick in ball speed. felt very similar imo with a slight edge to the new T1100 bein a touch firmer.

*firmer may not be the right word. it's a bit more stable-ish in the sense that i felt a bit more in control of where the head was throughout the swing a bit easier than with my smoke hulk.

Interesting.

i played the smoke green 65 and 75 tx for 1-2 years.   Dispersion was always pretty good. but it always seemed to be a little lower on ball speed and higher on spin than other shafts in that category.

might have to try a 1100

it's well worth a try - you could swap either in/out of my bag and i'd be happy.

Just grabbed one of these. Really enjoyed it so far. Have to agree with most of the other opinions I've seen here. It feels like the baby of a smoke green tx and black tr to me.

A bit more smooth / linear than the smoke green and a little more stout in the hands than a black tr. Haven't been able to get numbers yet, but will be looking to do some more head to head comparisons once I can get in a bay after the holidays. Playing smoke green rn, so will be interesting to see if it beats it out.

I have the smoke green 70 Tx and am wondering about upgrading. What did you end up with?

Still in testing tbh. I rotate semi frequently between smoke green tx, t1100, Ventus TR black and maybe a bit surprising (or at least it surprised me) Diamana WB tx. With some injury stuff I have been dealing with a really haven't been able to test head to head in a bay unfortunately and been swinging a little slower when I am able to get outside.

Currently really digging the Diamana WB, which like I said, I really didn't think I would enjoy due to the marketing material (the soft tip is really not that soft imo).  But it's been great.

When the driver is really off the rails though, I always go back to smoke green. Something about it just keeps the ball more in play for me than just about anything. If you like how the smoke green feels I think you will enjoy the t1100. It's maybe just a bit more stout then smoke green, but mostly just a bit more linear feeling for me. Hope that helps

edit: forgot to mention, I'm not really sure it's an upgrade from the smoke green but I guess it could be considered an evolution. If you have swung gen 4 vs gen 5 black I think the feels translate somewhat here. It's a slightly different feel in a familiar shaft

I always go back to smoke green when things get wonky as well.  The odd thing about the green for me is it never the longest, bits it’s usually very straight.  Ball speed is always down a couple of ticks and spin is usually a bit higher than the lowest stuff.  I also think it’s slightly counter balanced

the new t1100 had me curious as I was hoping it maintained the straightness and got me back that couple mphs and maybe a little lower spin.

agreed, very straight. Kind of a "boring" feeling shaft for me, and I guess that's why I keep trying new stuff lol, but always very solid. Wish I could say its faster, but in terms of numbers I did think the t1100 launched just slightly lower then green when I had them outside. Just looking at flights on the range, couldn't really tell if there was much spin or speed differences though.

Also, I was a bit surprised you haven't got your hand on it yet! I keep expecting to hop in here and see your thoughts.

Good to know. I like the gen 4 better than the gen 5 and really like the hulk but like a true wrxer I always think there’s something better lol.

After a little bit more time do you have any more thoughts on the feels on the hulk vs t1100 vs WB? I'm in the hulk now and considering testing either the WB or t1100 against it.

Current Setup:

LH

Krank Formula Fire LD 5 degree House of Forged Proto 70g

Krank Fire 13 degree House of Forged Code 85 4X

3-P Sub 70 TC/MB combo bent 3 degrees weak PX LS 7.0

52,57,63 Sub 70 JB forged wedge PX LS 7.0

Edel Array F1 torque balanced

Just got the t1100 glued up finally and took it out for 9 holes this morning and it was really good. Really straight and flat ball flight for me. I am hoping to finally get in a bay and get some numbers soon

I’ve got all three now.  All in 70 tx and tipped 1 inch.

wb is definelty the smoothest and feels least like a low low shaft.  Easiest to play, doesn’t go left.  Currently playing.

hulk tx feels like it has a load somewhere in the middle, but you have to be pretty quick to load it.   Sometimes I get anodd left ball trying to time it.  Interestly enough ball speed is always a touch lower with this and spin is always a touch higher than the other 3

New t1100 - this thing is rebar in tx flex.  No load. I get great center contact with his and it’s got the best dispersion and flight.  It’s fatiguing though and I’m in the process of trapping a 70 6.5 to test.  I like it this the most it’s just too much when I get a little tired.

I finally swapped the tip on my 60 6.5 so I could put in a titleist head and wow, I just totally forgot how good it is. It's funny you mentioned the center contact, because that exactly how I feel, just really easy to center this thing up. More so then hulk for me even. I think you'll really like the 6.5

70 6.5 is in!

only spent a few mins at the range with it but I love it so far.  Very stable, same centered contact, but feels like it swings itself compared to the tx.  No numbers yet but doesn’t appear to be much different on launch and spin.  I’m probably able to swing it a few mph faster too.

I'm 140 mph and using the TX untipped and it feels very very stable for me.

I'm in a 60g 6.5 tipped an inch and don't really feel the need to go to the TX other than pure curiosity. Swing in the low to mid 120s and would also consider myself a heavy loader with a wristy swing.
