I would think it will show up in the next week, since your order date was 2 weeks after mine.  I know when I talked to an inside rep about a question on my order there were already 300 in que!

I have the Black Chrome ZX7's with Axiom 125's and I love them.  I had steelfiber 125's in my Miura combo set of TC201/MC502 and hated them.  Not sure if Miura didn't build them right or what... but they were very inconsistent with the distances.  With the Axioms I haven't experienced that at all.  In fact I was in FL in Oct playing 6 rounds in very windy conditions and didn't have any shot balloon on me at all.  I don't find them low launching at all.  I have no issues hitting them high.  I think it is user dependent on what the ball flight is.  I highly rec them though.

Ok fellas….for those that have hit/seen both….

 

I have a new set of zx7 mkii black chrome available to me for $1000 

 

Also have a connect for zxi7 with stock shafts (x100, s400, modus 120, DG mids400) for $1015 

 

what should I do here?? I love the blacked out look as my current irons are t100s black out with AMT white s300 shafts. Love these Irons just want the better feels of the Srixon. Played the OG zx7 and they are ideal outside of the wanting to test everything new.

Hey all, 

been reading through the thread and see people concerned with the sole being wider than previous gens. Here’s some comparisons of my old z745’s and the new i7’s. When I was getting fit for them I also did these same comparisons in store with the zx7 mk2 and I don’t see where that idea has come from. If anything they are thinner sole. Top line is very similar to the mk2s and maybe more square than my 745’s. You can see the back edge of the i7’s has some relief which my 745’s don’t that makes them appear even thinner

Ugh, I just got my black chrome zx5 not too long ago. Liking them overall but struggling with high ball flight and really don’t want to reshaft but I LOVE the look. 
 

I need to stay out of Edwin Watts for a while or I could see these sneaking into my bag.

I feel your pain, I got my black chrome ZX7s a few months back and had convinced myself I wouldn't get these. So much for that, lol.

I think one of Srixon staffers posted a couple of pages back that they won’t be in this cycle.

Well I got the black MK2 last year and while they were ok…I would say get the new ones!

Do the King Tour feel anything like the ZXi line? Cobra claims 5 times forged. Which Srixon model would line up with these? 7 or 5?

I’ve seen Jan 13th on a few posts, and also the 24th, so i’m not sure. Seems that Monday would be the most likely for the public. Pre-orders can be put in now for shops and I was told sets would start shipping on the 15th. Lots of random dates - I know…

I believe 13th might be pre order date and 24th is official launch

I was told by a dealer to check back on the 13th and they should have the release date information. I got the impression that I will likely be able to put an order in on the 13th. This was through email communication so I’m reading between the lines a little here. It could just be that they are allowed to discuss the release date on the 13th.

The 7's are a one piece forged iron, the 5's are not.  The King Tour pretty much is, but they have that polymer filled slot in the back.  Feel is always going to be personal, but Srixon's forgings are hard to beat.  I've hit the King Tour, pretty nice, but kind of a crisp feeling to me.  Your just going to have to hit them, but don't rule out the ZXI5's, the 5 model for Srixon does it all they are just not going to "feel" exactly like a 1 piece forged iron...damn close to me though.

Hearing the 28th as the official release date to the public, but again...."hearing"

Embargo date is supposed to be around the 10th.
