Help me with a shoe purchase

Looking to grab a pair of shoes to add to my arsenal. I currently have two pairs. A black pair of UA spieths that is my “ugly weather” shoes.  A pair of G Fore gallivanters (white), that is my classier, dress it up for a nice course shoe.
 

Currently Looking for:

An athletic style shoe, to be worn with shorts and or joggers.

 

Generally would be worn with good weather so grip isnt super essential, but I also want them to clean up nice. If it has white foam midsoles, I cant stand when that stuff stains. I had a pair of Adidas that were amazing either comfort and fit,  but the midsole stained so bad, they look terrible.

Waterproof is a bonus but not necessary.

 

Comfort is important, I do walk about 1/2 my rounds. 
 

Some of the shoes Im looking at are:

Nike Zoom Infinity 2

Nike 270G

G Fore MG4+
Some of the Ecco Biom stuff.

 

Any suggestions/reviews/thoughts on these? Any others I may be looking over?

Huh, I never noticed that with my adidas.  

To me any flaws of the adidas are made up for by comfort.

I believe they are called forgefiber. Very comfy shoe. But that white midsole turned brown.

I wear the tours

To me it'd seem like that fabric would be harder to keep clean than the midsole.

The tours have a very similar midsole, but the shoe itself is super easy to clean

 

I have trouble finding comfortable shoes, so I'll deal with whatever since they feel so good to me.

LOL they're usually waterproof for a round before that goes, but i ignore that too🤣

If by midsole, you mean the white section between the black sole and the upper of the shoe, that’s always been a problem with those midsoles on Adidas.  If you want them to stay looking white longer, try some Pink Miracle shoe cleaner and scrub them after every round.  I went to that after watching all my prior XT360s get dirty there.  I’m not sure yet whether the new XT360 24s are going to be better in that regard, but I always felt that was a flaw in Adidas shoes.  That material just allows dirt in the pores that is hard to get out.  Still, I find some of the Adidas so comfortable that I’d put up with a little dinge if I had to.

Maybe I just waited too long to clean one time. Generally if you clean shoes after a round you can avoid most staining. I like the tours, seem a little on the heavy side, Id may consider the zg23

Yah people like those too

I walk almost all my rounds, so comfort is super important to me as well.

Yes, the tours are heavy when you pick them up, but I don't seem to notice them too much during rounds.

Note, once I started using the Pink Miracle shoe cleaner after every round, mine stayed pretty clean looking.  I think the key is not to leave dirt to set into those foam sections.  I’m pretty OCD now about immediately cleaning my shoes after I play now.

Gfore mg4x2 is the most comfortable athletic type golf shoe I’ve tried. I liked them so much a I bought a 2nd pair for casual wear.

Just know that the ZG23 fits differently than the XTs and the material on the upper flexes differently.  I’d wear them around the store a bit before you buy to make sure you like them.

Yes, thats what im referring too. I usually use a mr clean pad with most my shoes with success. Actually found my pair….

Yeah, that ‘s what mine looked like before I started using Pink Miracle after every round.  Now they stay very white.  But once they’re dirty like that, nothings gonna get that dirt off short of a belt sander.

If you are as OCD as me about keeping boost clean, this is the answer.

Works great.   They look new again.  The leather (on the 360) always cleans up easy and the yellow boost kills me.  These markers make it look new again.

I just recently picked up a pair of Nike Zoom Infinity Tour 2's after disliking the look but found a cheap enough pair that I said "ehh why not?"

Obviously take some of this with a grain of salt since they're still new to me, but so far I've walked 18 a couple of times and it is remarkable how comfortable they've been. I typically ache with foot fatigue even after walking 9 but my dogs were quiet and contented after both rounds. Excited once it warms back up to see if they continue to perform.

Yea I thought about picking a pair up because they can be had on ebay for $65 new and Ive heard good things. But thanks to @Minarets, this turned out nice, will stay with these a bit.

Adidas Codechaos 22 are my favorite golf shoes I’ve ever worn. Look good with shorts and joggers both. I’d say the ecco boom h4 are a little more comfortable but I prefer the grip and look of the codechaos. Only gripe is the clear plastic will yellow over time.
