Streamsong 5th Course

The proposed fifth course at Streamsong Resort in Florida is called the Stillwater Preserve course: 

Location: The course would be built between the resort's Red and Black courses. The first tee and 18th hole would be a short walk from the Black clubhouse. 

Features: The course would include several foot bridges over wetlands and surface water. 

Designer: It's not yet known who will design the course.

Kemper Sports, operating through an LLC called Stillwater Preserve Development, has submitted an application to the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) for permits to develop a fifth golf course at Streamsong. The proposed project, outlined in a Nov. 1 filing, involves an 18-hole golf course with cart paths spanning 345 acres. This site is adjacent to the Black Course and near the Red Course, with the new layout beginning and ending close to the Black clubhouse. Plans also include several footbridges to cross existing wetlands and surface water. The company owns over 690 acres in the area.

Really looking forward to this. I've been to Streamsong twice and the second time was significantly better than the first. 

 

I do hope they don't have to go to a booking schedule like Bandon recently switched to but it wouldn't surprise me with the popularity of golf.

I have never had a problem booking at Streamsong, and I doubt that a DMK course will change that substantially.
