Hit this today and wow. Unbelievable performance for me. 13.5 d/s but will likely play n/s. Off the tee was barely shorter than the elyte 3d driver. Could hit a tiny fade when I tried to. Of the 3 mini’s this was the only one I could get in the air off the deck. I did two rounds of testing with it and had no choice but to buy it. I’ll have a bit of gap between uw max 260 and mini going 285-290. Driver is 310 or so. Trackman range maybe juiced. 2nd two off the deck 🤣

I like the matte finish on the elyte mini but I didn't see as good of performance compared to my Smoke mini.  I'm sure I could get close if I had a rear weight kit but that's more money and time meanwhile the Ai Smoke mini uses the same weight so it's fast and easy to make small adjustments.  Also noticed launch and spin higher with the elyte which isn't something I need.

Elyte mini on course was great. Hit a couple just as far as an average driver 300-310 total pending wind. Probably going shade father than I want but on holes where driver can go 330 and I don’t want half wedges it’s just point and shoot. Still able to hit a couple bad pulls via bad swing which was expected. May shorten it to 43.25” for gapping purposes but this thing is awesome. Makes me wonder if I should go even shorter with driver from 44.75” 😅

Anyone have experience of elyte family much better or much worse than ai smoke? 
 

I noticed big improvement when I went from paradym triple D to ai smoke.   Recently tested the new elyte drivers and all were worse for me than current gamer

 

I ask because I have elyte mini on the way (I liked the fact it has adjustable weights in back for ball flight but curious if the ai smoke mini might be better

I’ve had the 340 mini for a while now. Got the elyte mini last week. Have only played two rounds with it so far. But I find the 340 mini easier to hit. The 340 is 13.5 set at 12.5. I have the elyte mini 11.5 set at 10.5 since I wanted it to replace my driver. I haven’t given up on the elyte yet, but so far I like the feel of the 340 mini more.

Still waiting for my Elyte mini to ship to me.  Not sure what the holdup is at Callaway. 

 

I'm more than happy with my AI Smoke 340 mini but just wanted to try the Elyte and compare.

Its all going to come down to the user.  For me the Ai Smoke Mini is a better fit as it launches a little lower and spins less.  Also easier to adjust as the weights are identical, whereas the elyte mini you need two separate weight kits to adjust.  I do find the Ai SMoke to be a bit more draw bias but I took it in my shop and added 6g of hotmelt to the toe.  It's perfection. 

 

I've actually hotmelted quite a few smoke mini's for players for the same reason.

There are 80 gram custom options.

75 x 1k black was stock at my local store. They have everything tho.

I put in a HZRDUS Black 70X I had sitting in my basement. Paired it with my 11.5 lofted down to 9.5 and it might have been the easiest driving round in memory. My trusty driver got benched, which never happens.

I bought this as strictly a club to play off the tee but spent about half an hour at the range yesterday hitting it off the deck (mats). 
 

I was stunned at the performance. Launched as high as any 3 wood I’ve played, even turned down to 10.5. Was even able to get it to turn over and play a little draw.  Not sure how it’ll fair off real turf but I at least have plenty of confidence to give it a try now. 
 

Editing to add context - I’m pretty unremarkable when it comes to club head speed, around 102mph max with driver, so to see this thing launch so easily off the deck was really impressive. It looked and felt like a “heavy ball” in the air. Once we’re on grass again soon at my club I’ll actually be able to get some trackman numbers as well.

I had the exact same experience.  I could tee it high and launch a high draw close to my driver distance or tee it low to rope a controlled cut out there.  I was amazed at how forgiving it is and how easy it was to elevate it off the deck.  I have a 280 on order to test, but it will take quite a bit to knock this MD out of the bag.  It pairs nicely with my elyte TD Max as well.  Both drivers performed great battling the winds in St George last week.

My original order had a shaft that they said was backordered until mid May so I switched it out with something in stock

Maybe I should call and check.  I ordered with a Denali Black but figured that would be a shaft with no issues.  I've never even used a Denali Black but figured it would be close to a HZRDUS Black which I do use and like but wasn't even listed as an option in the drop down list which I found very strange.  Honestly I don't even care what shaft I get as I really only want the head.

So I have the Elyte Driver and Mini

 

For me the Driver has nto been near as consistent as my AI Smoke TD last year, and I took the same Autoflex shaft from it and put it in the Elyte.  I'm not having issues with my other two drivers, ZXi and GT2 but not meshing well with the Elyte. 

 

Now the Mini is a different story.  I didn't have last years Mini, but have had the Elyte Mini in 11* for a couple rounds now and think I have found the correct tee height to unleash it.   AFter two rounds with Arccos it's averaging only 2 yards less than my driver.   I had our rep with me on the range last week, and he was commenting that the Autoflex in the Elyte seemed like it was releasing too soon.   So I will continue to work on the Elyte driver but the Mini is my go to, especially when I play in our Sr. league and we play the up tees.

i really like the driver shaft (normally a ventus black guy)

 

Mitsubishi 1k Black would be a good alternative too, I got that in Elyte Triple D thought it was good too

Thanks, this seems to jive with my experience trying the new elyte driver heads (but not mini) at a recent demo day.  Something about the weight felt different to me.  Could just be the distribution in the head vs swingweight but I didn't have them measuring stuff exactly.  I've found my swing and consistency is pretty sensitive to small differences.  the Ai smoke Triple diamond max for instance has been huge improvement for me vs the triple diamond 🤷‍♂️.  My elyte mini is supposed to arrive today so hopefully get some real swings in soon to know for sure

I've been on hold for 45 minutes now...still waiting for someone to pick up.  Getting mad.  Am going to see if 1K Black is in stock and ready, if not then I'm going to tell them to throw any darn shaft in it they want to because I really don't care at this point.
