didnt even notice that leading edge relief which I normally look for.  
 

from this video on last page this pic shows it perfectly.   Now I need to hit em. 

They are really nice, great feel and control. I am going to play at least twice this week before the knee surgery. Picking up the T3 wedges on Tuesday.

Got me a set ordered 4-p got them 1 degree weak with some $-tapers. now the wait begins.

Did you get any ETA yet? Checked with my fitter last week and was told 3/21. I’m reminding myself that there’s still snow in the ground and it doesn’t matter but I want them!!

I got my 925 forged last month, they turned them around in less than 10 days, which was a pleasant surprise after waiting nearly 4 months for my S23 wedges 2 summers ago

How weak are people bending these? I was thinking of going 2 degrees weak. I see most people have done 1 degree.

Finally got to hit these today. Can't say I brought my best swing with me! 

 

The feel great. It was range balls so I was hard pressed to tell the difference in materials in the short irons. 

 

What I really like is how little offset there is on the 5 iron. I've been playing PXG Gen 6 irons, and have always felt uncomfortable with the longer irons because of the offset.

That is the beauty of the 925 F IMO, I have played 4 rounds with them basically off my back foot as my left knee has been bad (had surgery yesterday) and still managed to hit some very nice shots. 

They are small enough to satisfy my ego and still give me the help I need, once the knee is healed up I hope to see some real improvement in the iron game.

Interesting. I haven’t hit the short irons yet and was wondering if there was a difference in feel. I guess I really just don’t know how hollow the long irons are - it’s kind of confusing to me.

Long irons aren’t hollow, just made with different material then the short irons (8-G)

Fitted for this 7i yesterday, would have liked to try a 5i and 9i also or off turf. Anyway felt nice enough coming from zx7 mkii and looked basically same size.

1 round in, not a single scratch.  Only reason i was willing to try these is because I read that the black was infused during the forging process and not just a coating.  So it's supposed to be more durable.  Only time will tell I guess.

They look so sweet!  I was set on the chrome but I am not thinking of the dark side...

 

As they're a 1/4 inch longer than previous iterations is everyone keeping them as is?

Same length as before, just the way they measure is “new”

They’re measuring according to USGA way of measuring now.

I’ve played 4-6 rounds and hit them on our sandy range some. Mine are showing some sole wear on the beveled edge but otherwise not hardly a scratch. The faces don’t look bad at all. Even so I’m going back to my 243s shortly. They’re a unicorn iron for me. Someone will probably get a killer deal on my set.

Got my set in. Ordered the chrome finish since it came with my favorite shafts as the stock offering. (KBS C Taper lite).

 

Havent hit them yet but comparing them with my gamers 718 AP2, they are pretty much exactly the same size besides blade length which the 925 might be a couple mm bigger. 2nd guessing myself now if I really want to try and get used to a new set when I'm already dialed in with these AP2. 

 

Do you think the 925's will be much more forgiving vs the AP2? Is the tech in these 925's gonna blow away the AP2 since those are circa 2018.

I'm going to say yes.

 

I have some MP20 MMC irons which are about the same size as well.  I think the slightly stronger loft whilst maintaining the spin and accuracy was the biggest plus for the 925 F over the MMCs.  The forgiveness on poor strikes was also better - subjective I know.

Looking forward to all of the reports on how these play. Still gaming my Ping i200s despite messing around with some z585s as a second set. I tend to not take a divot and have always read where Mizunos are the best fit for that kind of an iron swing.

Asked once already. Is anyone bending these weak in loft? If so how much have you gone. Currently have them bent one weak. Considering going another degree weak. Which would have less offset but adding loft.

Ordered mine one weak. I may go two on the short irons as they are two degrees stronger than the 921F I’m coming out of. But I’ll have to hit them and check distances and gapping first so TBD.

Same.  Will order them standard and get them out on the course before I start tweaking if at all.  PW is strong, but I expect it to launch and spin higher than my current 45 degree PW.

Finally got some nice weather and got to play a round with mine. I was very impressed with their performance and feel, was curious to see how the sole would be with turf interaction, very happy. Can’t wait get back out Friday

Great job Brian.  I am about to pull the trigger on a set and you have thrown a spanner in the works.  Both club set ups look awesome.  Love the blue grips & bespoke ferrules too.  Thanks for posting the video.
