Been checking these out, comparing them to the Vokey SM10s. Pretty close in overall size.

The RTZ wedges look great and in hitting a few demo shots, I thoroughly enjoyed the feel and flight of the Clevelands. Definitely a strong contender.

I agree. I thought the previous versions rtx were visually smaller down by the ball than a Vokey and less confidence inspiring.  I don’t have the that with the rtx.

i picked up a 52 and 56 mid and love them.  I want to get a 60 to replace me k* but have figure out the bounce grind option  equivalent from Cleveland yet.

Can anyone give any feedback on feel, are they actually softer? (Scanning the thread, I’m not seeing much of that.) I have a set of RTX Zipcores and they are a bit firm and harsh. It makes the short, delicate shots with thin lies a bit interesting.

They are softer IMO than any of the RTX line. Not mushy, but just right for me.

Yes they are soft. I’m coming from Edel wedges which aren’t too soft. I do have srixon ZXi irons and I will say they feel softer than that if it helps.

Surprise…they arrived. Only two errors so I guess it’s a positive. The paint for the initials is the wrong color and the wrong grips. TBH I like the wrong paint better so I guess it’s a win. There is definitely an issue with transmitting the order as they have those both wrong on their order form compared to my actual order.

I know they are new, but 25 swings destroyed a Prov1…yikes

They’re noticeably softer than previous RTX line. Around the greens, even with left dash, they feel amazing. Gonna be tough to beat these this year - feel, spin, shape, etc. they nailed it.

I guess having played forged wedges in the past these Cleveland’s don’t feel “soft” to me at all. Maybe relative to other cast wedges, sure. But I still think they’re plenty solid feeling. Kinda right in the middle in my opinion.

As stated in an earlier post and confirmed by another member, I was told mid June. I’m hoping this is a state the worst and pleasantly surprise with an earlier date type of thing. Until then, not using the 58 RTZ that was sent until the family is completed.

A lot of things can play into it. Despite being cast the RTXs feel great and some forgings can be a complete miss. They certainly feel less dense and "solid" that a decent number of forged wedges even if soft isn't how I'd describe them, and they are softer than a Vokey.

If the RTZ improves on the feel I won't complain at all.

I think the rtz feel noticeably better.  Could be  my strike is better with them then the rtx I tried, but something always felt off with the rtx strikes compared to the vokeys I have played in the past.  These feet great

I just received my RTZ Mid 58* wedge and hit it at the range today. Feel is very good and the shape is excellent. I like how the lighter face of the black satin frames up the ball. It’s slightly rounder and taller than my MG3 wedge. Turf interaction is similar to the MG3 standard bounce for me. Can’t wait to get it on the course!

Here is the look at address:

Look great! I like the the deeper look of the face, and you’re right the contrast between the black finish and grooves frame the ball nicely

Interesting.  I’m a long time vokey player and these rtz tour rack saws feel a lot softer than vokeys

Same.  I’ve played multiple versions of both raw Cleveland & raw Vokey and always find Cleveland to be very soft in comparison.

Vokey's feel nice and solid.  Cleveland’s actually feel soft to me.  Even on short pitch shots.

How’s the 30-80 yard spin rate on these? Debating a 54,60 combo in the tour rack to replace my sm9 right now.

I really like them.  I have a 46 raw, 52 and 56 tour rack raw, all in mid.  The flight well and im able to hit all the shots I can hit with them.      I still have a 60 k* grind that I haven’t swapped out, only because I haven’t found how to replicate it with the rtz.

i did demo a 58 mid and was able to keep spin rates north of 10k on trackman indoors 70+ yards.

I’m probably in the minority but I did not like the RTZ at all. I much prefer the tour rack RTX6’s in feel, looks, and any other category you can think of.
