Payntr Golf 2025

Payntr and Jason Day have a new collaboration coming in 2025. Day wore them at the Sentry last week. Anyone have information about this? How do you think they look?

They look like a sneaker wanting to be a golf shoe to me. That's not bad, but I couldn't pick them out of the sneaker\golf shoe lineup. jmo

I'd potentially rock them if they have a good wide fit. Hopefully means the SC87 being in stock more as well.

I can’t find anywhere that carries wides in stock. Think I’m just going to bite the bullet and order a pair from Payntr to try. I’m thinking these may the closest thing in terms of grip and stability to the old Dryjoys Tour. I’m normally an XW but maybe I can get the the clarino to stretch a bit.

I think the SC87 are only sold through Payntr at the moment. I've heard they are on the wider side, I'm not sure on sizing whether to stay true or size down. Might have to contact them directly before ordering.

I bought a pair of the X001F in wide last year and really love these shoes. However, I don't find them particularly wide. I wouldn't call them tight just not as roomy as a Footjoy or Ecco. I ended up going up a half size compared to Footjoy.

Either they are selling a bunch of shoes or they stock very low amounts because the SCs are already out of stock again.

I’m really liking the looks of these. Almost looks like a Jordan golf shoe but way more comfortable.

I found the sc87 at a local store today and some notes on the fit.

 

I wear a 11.5 wide in FJ premiers, a 12 regular in adidas and usually a 12.5 regular or wide in Nike.

 

i only got to try on a 12 wide in the sc87 and they were wide and very voluminous.  I would say like a 12 extra wide in Footjoy premier.  Very spacious, and very flat which helps make them feel wider.

 

super soft leather and out of the box comfortable.  The leather is like a glove, so might have dura lily concerns.

That's awesome info thank, basically true to size length for me, still not sure on width but I think wide still may be the best option for me over standard. Just basing on my past Payntr trying on experience.

They look nice but I'm not sure Day is the best brand ambassador for Payntr as many won't get beyond the look of the rest of his clothing to notice the shoes..

The Eighty Seven SC and Moving Day SC are the best shoes they make, very very comfortable and fit well, followed by the X Tour Proto RS which are a slightly firmer/rigid build. Enjoy them all since I took the plunge.

They seem to be popular the Eighty Seven SC sold out again the other day. They need to bump production big time.

They have sizes available now in both medium and wide in whites. The black are a bit more limited since wide isn't offered. The Moving Day SC are great shoes, perform great and look amazing. I'd like to say I'm done for the year, but as soon as I offload my stash of Adidas & Nike, I know I'll be picking up more.

I've been wearing my 87 SCs for a few months now. Before that, I wore FootJoy Fuels, but I wanted a change. I tried G/Fore and other premium FootJoy shoes, but they didn’t feel comfortable or perform well for me. The 87 SCs, on the other hand, are high-performance golf shoes that provide exceptional comfort. They’re the first pair that don’t cause pain in my feet or back.

Ordered some Eighty Seven SC's on a whim this week to compare to my FJ Hyperflex Carbon Boa which i've enjoyed other than the super high sock liner which leaves a funny looking tan line above your ankle... Should have them tomorrow.

 

After doing some digging and seeing that they had "Fast Fit" on a few pairs at the PGA show which i'm assuming drop pretty soon, i'm hoping I don't regret the laces haha (knowing me, i'll buy both). Have seen nothing but good info about the 87 SC's and honestly excited about the stack height and a little more width in the toe box as I really shift into my left pinky toe. I'm a 10.5 in almost all FJ styles, and tend to lean more D width unless a pair runs super narrow like the old DNA's did. Ended up just ordering an 11D in these from the "0.5 size up" advice.

 

They also have that 10% off on the site with your first order, which is great. I've always tried my hardest to go in the direction of a Gallivanter G-lock or a Premiere from a style standpoint, but I just don't think my feet appreciate it. Feel like these may be just what i'm looking for. Shorter height/frame like the older ECCO Biom hybrid, carbon plate, simple white color-way, Tour Flex Pro spikes, and good materials. All in all, very excited to try them out! Something a little out of my normal choices for golf shoes.

I just ordered the All Day SC using standard 11M sizing, which matches what I wear in FootJoy. Per another source I was told standard medium sizing is true to FootJoy, but wide sizing need to go up a 1/2 size. Due to be delivered Monday, so I'll correct this if I don't find sizing to be accurate. 

 

Also, the All Day SC were $180 which got me free shipping. The 10% discount would drop below $180 thus requiring shipping charge of $15...which essentially would be a wash.

That makes zero sense, Payntr sizing is the weirdest I've ever seen in a shoe brand next to True.

I got my pair of 87 SC's today in 11D, when i'm usually 10.5D in FJ. That half a size up from FJ seems perfect for me at least. Had them on for about 10 minutes just to let my feet get acclimated to them and they fit like a glove. Not saying that sizing advice is for everyone, or for every model... just what i'm seeing. Big fan of these guys so far. Ready to hit some balls.

Me too, I've seen Insta posts from Asia with them but nothing from in the states.  I can't speak highly enough of these shoes. I have a Lisfranc sprain and the carbon fiber plates have played a big part in making it easier for me to play multiple days in a row without my foot swelling up.
