Yup. Most forgiving ‘players distance’ iron AskGolfNut has ever tested.

It doesn't seem all that long ago that I cursed a printer for failing to chuck a bit of black ink on paper.

The CoolClubs robot test indicates a very high level of forgiveness. Maybe the highest.

Smaller and I think more forgiving.  The limited release was pretty incredible consistent across the face

So those pics are from Danny Willetts bag look at the WTIB pics here. I don't know him or his preference of clubs but maybe he likes his a little bigger and Cobra put OS on them for some reason? Maybe it doesn't mean oversized at all and something completely different?

 

It is a very real possibility those are a one off run just for him.

I reached out to my cobra guy and he said they were taking orders so i placed one about a week ago and a half ago

 

they showed up today 🤷🏻‍♂️

 

i was thinking they would not ship until March

My understanding is that all cobra accounts should be able to order at this time. I do know that he had to reach out to his direct cobra rep to place the order as the online portal doesn’t have the option to order yet.

Are there any specs out in the wild to compare these to the ZXi7s? Blade length, offset, topline etc.?

How would these irons compare to the current King Tours? offset, top line, speed, loft, forgiveness, feel, etc.

 

And would these ever be released in their black finish?

 

I'm trying to decide between these two options, or even the i240's when released

Just got another marketing email about the LIMIT3D for the same $3K price tag. I'm really curious what the difference is between the original LIMIT3D and the new 3DPTour in terms of specs, production, materials (metal type) and cost.

Had a pair - they worked as advertised 👍🏽. The uppers wore out faster than the soles unfortunately -material quality was so so and didn’t match the effort put into the sole. 
 

Was pretty interesting listening to the Cobra guy on the Golf IQ podcast talking about the irons and how Cobra thinks about 3D printing.

I have 3 pairs and so far so good! To be fair, I wear each pair maybe only once every couple months.

Cobra sent us the fitting heads by mistake, can grab a few comparison shots next to other irons and the 3D limited ones as well. Let me know what you want next to them 👌🏻 they are hands down the softest, best feeling irons I’ve ever hit. Better than the 3D limited, better than the 221 & zxi7s.

All the initial feedback on these seems to be stellar. That along w/manufacturing capabilities leads me to believe this is quite possibly the future of irons.
