I know 3D printed but. do these have the lattice inside? More tungsten? What is under the hood that we cant see? Or are these just like Homa's irons that were just tweaked to match his eye but are just a solid one piece head?

Yes. Allows Cobra to make a “blade” that performs like a CB

Agreed! Is he not in some way with Cobra though? or just loves the irons/driver? the driver makes sense for someone with PX LS 7.0 speed though.  i know ive seen him wear their logo but idk about this season specifically

Not really sure?  His doesn’t have a cobra staff bag, so I assume he is just playing whatever works for him🤷

He lists cobra golf and puma golf on his insta - usually means he’s got some kind of deal in place.

The 3DP system allows whatever you want.  The machine is hooked up to an AI system and CAD program.  So you can basically enter what you want and its makes it. if you want a true blade that is the shape of another companies blade...then scan it and ask the machine to make it: viola.  if you want something in the shape of the t100 with more heel bias and the bounce of a i230...boom.

so these are completely different than the retail special editions?

 

makes sense, but could also turn into a lot of protypes w/o real testing as well.

The goal is 4 years but might be 5.  Every time they make a head and test it the data goes into the AI program and it becomes better and better at calculating all the parameters and specs on unique specs and design differences etc...  So the need for testing IRL keeps going down and down as they have more and more data. 

 

Are these completely different than retail?  Every model they are printing for pros can be different if they want.  The retail version is just 1 model being made over and over but the machine can change any aspect they desire.  They aren't limited by traditional manufacturing processes.

7.0 LS shafts, that is amazing. Somewhat surprised more pros don’t play these, especially with so many young players and their clubhead speed. 
 

Those older ACCRA shafts pre true temper purchase were truly underrated.
